Let's discuss how the greatest crash will play out.

1)Muricans will fuck up EU, because they won't be affected for a while

2) Italy will shit itself, Greece, Belgium, Portugal will be next

3) Strengthening of dollar will happen. Emergency markets are drying in a bloodshed of devaluated currencies.

4) Silver mooning, gold is 4x returns.

5) Crypto is plummeted as it is the most speculative asset and easy to liquidate

6) Eu is dissolving. Russia will knock knock. Potential war.

7) Japan in war with China

8) Nationalist are in everywhere. Genetic manipulation incoming, racial purity restored.

Discuss

Ive already went through this but ill give you the rundown.
>emerging markets fall and their currencies inflate because developed markets pull out of them (USD deflates)
>Greece/Italy leave the European Union and Europeans run into liquidity problems since the companies are so levered and banks arent capitalized properly. We might even see a bank panic (already bank runs happening in Greece, Italy, Turkey, Portugal, etc...) Europeans introduced a measure where they can freeze your account so you cant withdraw funds a few years ago when shit was going down in 2013, but Mario Draghi of the ECB prevented a meltdown
>USD is the safe haven in all this turmoil (intermediate term 5-10Y investment grade bonds yield ~3.15%). Gold/commodity basket is also great just incase shit turns really bad.

I didnt even Chinas/Indias problems but thats another wall of text.
>Indians have too much foreign denominated debt (Euro/USD/Yen)
>Chinese have overleveraged firms & lots of foreign denominated debt (one of the reasons Yuan at 7 is talked about so much). When people pull out and put their money in bonds/commodities USD will strengthen and China will be put in a difficult position where they have to raise interest rates to keep the Yuan stable at 7, which doesnt make things much better at home.

Nice summary.

Shiff is wrong about the dollar and Gold. The US dollar will be the safe haven and Gold will hit $1000, or lower. I like Harry Dents take on it and demographics. We are heading into massive deflation and collapsing of ALL asset prices.

Yes, but gold can still go up. People exiting assets arent comfortable holding dollars only, especially boomers who lived in the 70s. I do agree we are in are double dip deflationary depression much like 1936-37.

Better start learning about how to be a feudal lord, because the police won't be there to protect you. They'll just be another gang stealing food and supplies from citizens so they can provide "protection" to the community.

The only things you own are what you're willing to use violence to prevent others from taking.

Agreed, Bitcoin is going to be considered the safe haven because with currencies failing left and right due to over-printing the rich will turn to something easily bought, stored, and moved, none of which gold is. There are people saying the dollar will be a safe haven as well but unfortunately thats only if the fed over-corrects with a high interest rate, which will kill a ton of small US banks, which in turns weakens the dollar.

1)Muricans will slow down trading with the EU which will hurt both countries pretty badly but the US dollar will win in the end

2) Italy will shit itself, Greece, Belgium, Portugal will be next because of debt, and the pound will crash because nobody wants to live on that island anymore

3) Strengthening of dollar will happen with higher interest rates because emerging markets are trying to repay their debts, end up transfering a bunch of their own money into dollars at awful rates, and end up drying in a bloodshed of devaluated currencies. This will also hurt EVERY market in America because EVERY market is currently running on debt

4) Silver mooning, gold is 4x returns. The average American joe gets completely priced out of his house and is forced into the poverty of the huge wave of immigrants that storm into America due to the #3 emerging markets crash of South America.

5) Crypto skyrockets because there is an entire upper class of people (net worth of 5-15 million) who see that gold is super high and are also looking to leave America to become the worlds country-less middle class, much like the upper classes before them. They need something they can store, move, and transfer easily, none of which gold is. They turn to crypto.

6) Eu is dissolving. Russia will knock knock. Absolutely a war, Russia is eyeing to get all of the USSRs land back and the only thing stopping them currently is America. Once #1 happens America and the EU will no longer be friends.

7) Pseudo US-Japanese war with China. China makes sure to be the victim, blame America for giving Japan crazy weapons, brings up the Rape of Nanking, sparks huge rise in nationalism, Russia swoops in to the save the day and looks like the good guys, also making America look like the bad guys.

8) Nationalist are in everywhere. Genetic manipulation incoming, racial purity restored for those that can afford it.

>> No.11515257

>>11515022
A community that has social cohesion. If you have any kind of political turmoil in a proto-society in times of turmoil. You're fucked.

You need to have an established hierarchy before or much of your time will be spent suspecting the others in your community.

The best situation is multiple family units, with the children of those family units, marrying among each other to tie the bloodlines together under 1 allegiance.

From there you need to start an expansionist policy like Ghengis Khans. Join and become one of us having the comfy life with spoils of war and a meritocratic society or die as an enemy. NO exceptions. Its brutal, but you need to make sure that each person under you has an incentive to follow you and protect you from others.

The second benefit of this model is that when you face good talent on the battlefield, you can incorporate that talent into your talent pool instead of killing them. Many times Ghengis khan would fight and enemy and that enemy would end up being one of his top generals. People want opportunity to have a better future. If you can give them that. You will rule for life with little opposition.

Hope someone responds because otherwise all my thinking about what a proto-society would look like in a feudal aftermath of a breakdown of society would be wasted.

>6) Eu is dissolving. Russia will knock knock. Absolutely a war, Russia is eyeing to get all of the USSRs land back and the only thing stopping them currently is America. Once #1 happens America and the EU will no longer be friends.
Your right in that there will almost certainly be a war and that Russia does want its land back but i think your wrong about the scope. Russia does seek the to restore much of its former territory but not all of the land held by the soviet union, don't forget that modern Russia is absolutely not the soviet union.

What does seek is to restore the historical boarders of the Russian empire from around Catherine the great onwards. Think about it, the boarders right now are terrible long, they have 25% less territory, and half the population as they did during the soviet period. But if you push into Ukraine, Belarus, the Baltic states, and half of Poland those boarders regions you have to defend shrink substantially thanks to the Carpathian mountains and the narrowing of the European plain.

Just some food for thought.
