What did they mean by this. Is it hard for boomers to part ways with their stocks they bought 30 years ago?

OG boomers never had to practice challenging their beliefs, so they default to ignoring information that would force them to do.

They don't understand the concept of trading. To them stock is just like throwing money into a bank account.

>> No.11447997

Yea or they have retirement accounts which you generally don't trade. Or maybe they just know how autistic that advice is.

Do you fucking retards understand anything about financial markets?

Same thing happened to me OP. They're retiring soon and I don't want them to have to come to me when they already have a comfy amount of money in stocks.

You failed your son and should be ashamed. Not because you arent leaving him shit, but because hes a useless sack of shit NEET. This can only be obtained from lack of parenting and role models to look up to in his family. Sorry if I strike a nerve anon, that's just the way I see it.

That's what it should be for most people. 95%+ of stock traders (including you and OP most likely) can't outperform the market risk adjusted in the long run by trading.

I actually took my money out of the stock market a month ago because I plan on liquidating it to buy the cheap properties that will be available in a year or two. If this turns out to not be a recession, I'll just ease the money back in. Willing to lose a year or two of gains... looks like some of you fags have already done so by staying put...

And this is everything that is wrong with economy right now. Retards think that buying stocks is saving. It's gonig to come down hard and a lot of people are gonig to lose all their "savings".

prices went down 15% on average since last year.
I think overvalued house are dropping in price aswell as interest rates may have an effect on housing dropping them even further in the coming few years.
It's still a good option to hold if your renting atleast.

It's really scary how programmed Boomers are. My grandparents were never like this and my generation isn't either.
