Find a nice african village family to take me in since I need food and shelter in the short term, I offer menial labor in the meantime. After a few weeks where I can get my bearings and some basic intel on the ongoings of the area, I start going to the mines or military contractor's in the area, being able to speak english fluently and being american allows me to communicate with the higher ups and I get a paper pushing/low tier administrative position. Work my way up the ladder, and have my share of drugs, negresses, and AK's. I also drop 1000 USD to the family who took me in at the beginning.

This would be my plan, but of course there's always a chance I get shot or malaria/dysentry and die before I get too far
