Tradesman here.

Guys like that caveman are definitely out there but not always the case. Any big company or group will have one or two. They will always be a grunt and never move up. The thing is boss's keep them around because they are hard workers and loyal slaves.

With any trade you should ONLY work at the bottom for the time it takes to get the skills you need to move up.

I learned my skills and in less than 2 years started my own company. When I was at the bottom I had 2 coworkers. One was a skinny methhead, and the other a black dude with all gold teeth that wore his jeans almost to his knees.

It's part of the trades but you gotta ignore it and move on. If I were the kid in that video I would have just gotten the haircut. In 5 years that kid could have his own boat and laugh his ass off at that retard insisting he get a haircut. I now make 100k a year and sometimes get a chuckle thinking back to the retards like that guy who tried to tell me what to do.

In fact at the place I worked we had an islander guy who looked almost exactly like he did and he was no joke the biggest dickhead I've ever known in my life. I still hate him to this day. They are not lying when they say they will make your life miserable if you do one thing to piss them off like not getting stupid haircuts.

I did construction work and remember making cement for 2 different teams on opposite sides of a house, one with full sun hitting it, the other in the shade. Both wanted different types of cement, one wanted sloppy wet and the other very dry. Was impossible to make one for each because the size of each team meant they worked fast. So I had to go in between and they were rushing me. The big dickhead who looked very simulator to the cunt in that image came around the side, standing on the top of scaffolding and started throwing full bricks at me without warning screaming at me to make his cement more wet, then the guys on the other side heard and started bitching him out about wanting dry and it started a fight between them but both sides where two stupid to find a resolution and ended up still taking it out on me.

Glad I got fired now to be honest. Fuck that job. Fuck all tradesmen.

There were multiple islanders there, there were a few short ones and they were nice. It was the big one with the rounded face, he looked darker like he could have been a mix between black, asian and islander. I dunno what he was.

In the few weeks before I got fired from that construction company the guy really went of his nut at me. He had clear anger problems but he was dumber than the bricks he worked with. I was just a fucking apprentice and he was some late 30's guy with tons of experience yet still working for the white boss who owned it, yet he was the supervising guy while the boss wasn't around so like a 2IC. He was too dumb to give out instructions properly and would often forget to mentions things then get mad when you didn't do what he didn't ask.

He would go into full screaming matches and yell in my face and flex his muscles, call me names and all that trying to make me quit my job. But I'd never give in and would just yell back, or stand my ground and keep constant eye contact and never blind just to psych him out. It made him mad and he'd retreat in rage and kick piles of bricks over and throw shovels around the workplace everytime when he knew he didn't scare me. He always threatened me that he'd draw blood one day though. I dunno why I didn't quit earlier, it was my first job so I thought it was how it was. The only thing aside from huge yelling matches was when he'd occasionally throw things at me like the bricks that time which was actually fucking dangerous the stupid fuck. I will go to mention I wasn't the only one treated like this though, he treated all the apprentices and laborers like this.

industries like this are quite similar all over the world. there's a strong 'military' kinda mentality thats required to survive. if you're fresh blood, they make your life a living hell etc etc

most tradies i've come across have been a bit rough around the edges but have been way easier to get along with than the average normie because they were way more genuine, BUT the ones who were douches were all the way douchy to the point where you wanna knock their teeth out.
