Why is megaman x so relatable to btc bear vs bull cycles?

I emulated the first megaman game, it was too hard so I gave up.

X was one of the greatest hero archetypes ever, some of my earliest memories playing Megaman X made showed me as fleeting sensation imparted by the story line that I could become stronger and that the heroes I looked up to can one day become equals and peers.

Wooden, shitty, uninspired human.

>As is explained in the original game Mega Man X, he is the template on which all non-Light model Reploids (except Zero) are based, and he battles against Mavericks to protect humans and assuage his guilt for his part in their creation. He was created by Dr. Light sometime in 20XX. Light named him X after the variable "x" which, in algebraic terms, represents limitless possibility, as do X's advanced systems.

what dumbfuck made these disgusting romhacks? i remember when, over a decade ago now, i downloaded a giant compilation of bootleg ROMs and romhacks from some russian site, and there were so many of these ugly fucking things, all from the late 90s and early 2000s. it had me wondering at the time, even as a kid—like, wouldn't the kind of computer nerds who'd be into NES romhacks at such an early time in their history be smart enough to find that crap unappealing? i still cringe every time i see anything like it

i'm pretty sure they were all affected by mercury poisoning

I've been coming to this shithole for near a decade now. It has alway been shit, but it is the last place on the internet that seems untouched by PC faggotry. That is enough for me.
I can also decide to be thoughtful, or a complete unhelpful asshole and shitpost depending on the mood without any reprocussions.
