They are a third party node hosting service who sold shares to their company. The devs are currently building a kind of dex where you can trade shares of the company trustlessy. LinkPool had a crowdsale where you could buy shares and earn a share of their revenue based on how much you put in. Crowdsale is done now, so you'd have buy LinkPool shares second hand on the DEX that is coming out soon. As a service, LinkPool has 2 options when Chainlink mainnet comes out. You can rent a Node as a Service for a flat monthly fee and they take care of the technical stuff. They also have a staking service where you're part of a big pool and get rewardeds minus a 25% fee.
