How are you holding up? This has been the most boring trading period all year. I dont know how much longer I can take this.
Whales and retails are all on the sidelines waiting for confirmation.
Right now we have pathetic volume, lowest of the year, but i bet that will surge as soon as confirmation is given.

What are you plans trading wise atm?

between 2.5 and 5 percent gains

>> No.11302677

I have been setting up a short for over a week. On bitmex i've been getting funding non stop, and earned 0.1 Bitcoin, which is some relief.

Currently I see equal bull to bear indicators, but preference to bear due to the bigger trend, and not betting against it.
I'm anticipating another move up before we go down.

i mean i cant even 100x the swings

What is your strategy?
I would never touch anything above 10x leverage. I only trade the bigger movements though and build my positions.

depends on the market, id never touch anything below 25x lev. i dont trade breakouts, just try to scalp the current trend. I mostly short, its quicker bucks

Check out this vid and jump to 1:30: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVqYFc5pgCw

>October to December is the best period for BTC, according to studies on seasonality
>If BTC stays above the January/June lows there might be another rally by mid to end October

The possibility of BTC dropping below support level: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uR92hWtyU1Y

I'd say, get in the seasonal bull market (NOT "all-in"), take some profit and be prepared to buy more when it drops towards 3k-4k.

The only time this didn't happen was after the first OCT/NOV following the bubble pop last time. I wish people would stop looking for biased TA to confirm bull momentum

Hasn't been boring if you've been holding/trading HOT, lemmie tell ya.

After all, it's speculation. That's why you only risk a part of your money so that you still stay in the game.

Still underwater on a short at 6380 or something since over a week ago. If price cracks 6700 I'll probably close it and swallow the loss.

Same i pretty much been wage cucking non stop since March and just been buying alts down 90% my plans are to trade in between QSP and REQ back and fourth when they inevitably pump hard

>> No.11303392

You must not be holding/trading any HOT. Been far from bored these past few months.

I dont trade alts

>>11303358

why did you short there?
At least you are getting funding. I've collected $600 in funding alone since i opened short at 6812. adding more shorts at 690 and 6740

I thought we were going to be retesting the 6200-6300 floor at least one more time. As it is I think we still have a chance to retest that level which is why I've held off on closing the position but I'm starting to have my doubts.

>> No.11303909

>>11303893

I agree we will. I think 6k test is on the horizon. However, expecting 6.8k first, at least 6.7k.

I will only consider some kind of reversal when a 4hr candle closes above 6830

I haven't taken any profit on this position since i opened it. Just earned all that realised PNL from funding every 14 hours.
