Boy, the worst part was that he had the gall to go on the news and share his story as if this is some incident that can just happen to anyone. Most people are smart enough to realize that the government doesn't take Itunes gift cards as compensation. The last refuge he can take to salvage his dignity is to try make himself a martyr. If he deludes himself into thinking this can happen to anyone, he can get a few scraps of altruism points by selflessly "helping" others.

I'm extremely fascinated by this. My elderly mother wouldn't even fall for these scams.
I seen articles about how theyll even stay on the phone with the victim while they drive to CVS to buy the iTunes cards. CVS even has giant signs and messages you have to click OK on to promise you didnt fall for a scam and it doesnt work to stop people.

Got a link to this guy, Id like to watch him embarrass himself.

Thats pretty sad in his case. Honestly those stores should all do like CVS and double check with buyers they arent being scammed. I had to buy Amazon cards once to get bitcoin and was hassled in several stores about buying a bunch of cards at once with cash.
