Wall Street will never invest in Bitcoin seriously. They will, instead, launch their own proof of work coin. They will accumulate slowly, under the radar. They will give a stupid name to their coin, and eventually they will rebrand it. With a little help from their friends, they will make it mainstream.

They already did that with Ripple

This. Wall street gets in early not late. They'd rather skip and FUD bitcoin entirely than admit they were late. Some of them might get in early to other cryptos though. And those will definitely pump.

Ripple isn't proof of work. Wall Street knows that premined coins will never really overtake Bitcoin. They need to distribute it with proof of work mining.
