I’m all in on LINK for months and I’m pretty sure that link will really reach $100 someday, but there’s still one thing that bothers me...

It’s the arrogance.

Holders of ETH or Antshares before they mooned weren’t spamming biz with hubris. Anything less than $1000 is considered fud and I’ve seen MANY anons post that they’re “pre-millionaires” or just biding time until the Singularity.

No technical FUD can phase me. No tokenomics fud. Nothing. It’s just that everyone is so fucking certain they’ve got a winning lottery ticket - there is something about that that doesn’t sit right with me...

On the other hand the guy from the Big short was also sure of himself. Because he could see something that others couldn’t see. Hmm. Is that what’s happening here?

Someone is into crypto and they hear about /biz/. They already have their portfolio into things they believe are great tech, like NANO or Vechain. They visit the threads about those coins and see people talking about how crypto needs instant transactions, RFID technology to bring physical objects onto the blockchain and they seemed even more enamored with their investments.

Then they keep seeing this blue cube as they refresh their page. First they just ignore it. Eventually they keep seeing all these threads about this blue cube and finally they decide to see what the hype is about and they click on the thread and view it.

Its filled with people spamming ridiculous memes, no talk in sight about the technology aspect of the platform, and people just replying ridiculous things like "1k EOY check these digits."

Now, it would actually be very very dumb for someone to see that and not instantly think "Wow, these people are stupid." So its only logical for them to come up with the conclusion that LINK investors are a cult and the community is cancer. But what they missed was months and months before this stage where the technicals were talked about constantly, the ideas went through a social Darwinism, and people argued and eventually agreed about smart contracts needing a network of decentralized oracles in order to properly facilitate large scale transactions.

They are just viewing that stage where LINK investors are bored out of their minds, spamming stuff to pass the time, and FUDding for fun because they already went through the trouble of explaining everything about it. And to a person viewing just that aspect of it, we seem like absolutely crazy schizos.

So, go fuck yourself. We have the right to be arrogant.

OP, you can often tell how good an investment will be by the tenacity and efforts of those attempting to sell you on that investment.

>whole life insurance
>annuities
>extended warranties

Usually high return investments never see the light of day and are kept among the ultra wealthy and those with similar connections.

>Exclusive hedge funds

There are a few high return investment opportunities that get past the ultra wealthy and make it to the common man but they are very uncommon.

Link may do something at some point but statistically the odds are stacked heavily against it. Along with most other shitcoins out there.

The fact that many people don’t take legitimate concerns seriously at all makes me think this is all just groupthink echo chamber confirmation bias delusion

People are saying things like “I only need it to reach $50 per link”. ONLY more than 100x gains, not much to ask then.

Link is such a good project. There is solid evidence of many big partnerships. Smart contracts are going to be huge. But despite all this it’s not a sure thing and there are many things that could lead to it falling short of as much as $10

Still, it’s a comfy hold and I’m pretty much all in. Huge upside potential but $100 is far from guaranteed - let alone $1000
