Are we doing another run on the Binance hot wallet? Remember when we completely drained it last year? Remember how they shut the site down for three days? Yeah: let's do that again; maybe it'll kick-start the Golden Bull Run.

Minus 30k lol.

>> No.11062368

Binance are actually holding link as they plan to monetise API's and run a dex. They know what it is worth. they are not retarded.

is that why they begged sergey to offer it?

>> No.11062545

>>11062509
not sure what you mean by that. but if I'm reading you correctly that was not the case.

CL could not stop binance listing link. bots were responsible for the big wash trades on multiple tokens that had inherent long value. binance were accumulating. nothing to stop them in this unregulated environment

Wait, so like Holo, Chainlink got listed for free? Bullish af.

>> No.11062585

i believe binance had to get permission from the cl team. pretty sure they had to ask.

not clued up on holo's arrangement but CL didn't pay a penny to be listed.

You're incorrect. CL was approached by Binance in their official slack asking to talk to them about listing. Someone has a screencap, probably. Would have been in September/October of last year.

the point is, binance approached CL. and CL didn't pay them. CL could also not stop them.

i dunno if pic related suggests that they "did it without permission"—though, it certainly seems as though they were intent on listing it, one way or the other.
>>/biz/thread/S3626222

just as a side note—
in case you're a decemberfag or whatever, back around late august and early september, things that were listed on binance had a tendency of being noted for performing like crap immediately afterwards—so binance had a brief reputation of being "the exchange where coins go to die".

Don't care, I have moved my stack to my personal wallet. Not gonna sell any time soon.
