>wageslave for a few years while living at home rent/bill free
>put it all in an index fund and enjoy 7%+ healthy returns

Instead of doing this you zoomers have opted for giving all your wagebucks to slumlords and the dead crypto market

This is the best way for most people.

>> No.11035043

Not all of us have the luxury of living at home, that aside the two guys I know who have made it, both were wage slaves and worked fucking hard for their entire 20's-30's went out on their own 30's-40's and pumped money into stocks and property, they retired at 50 with millions in the bank. One was a carpenter the other was an engineer, basically get skilled work hard, become good at what you do, work for yourself, pump earned money into long term investments.

Buy a van and live in that, while working in NYC, SF, DC. You'll be able to save 60K+/year if you have anything resembling a functional brain. No reason for falling for the rent Jew.

I have done this after moving back in following graduation, I am and have always been a nocoiner.

I am now 26 with $300k spread across liquid assets
I work 40 hours a week, and besides the 6 hours spent in the gym my life consists of porn, anime, and video games
I no longer enjoy anything
I have no desire to move, advance in my career, be social, speak to roasties, or do anything different
I have absolutely nothing motivating me to get out of bed in the morning

It always recovers when you look at it over a long enough timespan. Don't panic sell like a double-digit IQ normie every time it sinks. That's when you rebuy with all the dividends you have been accumulating like the juden.

I cant wait for this passive index fund fad to die when the next downturn comes and everyone in passive ETFs get absolutely buttfucked by non-existence liquidity causing massive loss in value of any tracking fund before people have time to even log into their vanguard accounts.
I will be on this board 24/7 watching all of the butthurt fly back and forth as people realize how dumb and ignorant they were to think they could just put money into something they do not fully comprehend and think they will make consistent decent returns on it, life does not work that way.

>Living off of your parent's charity

Yeah, not everyone has people willing to give them a place to live free of charge. Most money is spent on rent and bills - no wonder you're ahead.

Maybe take an actual risk and then I'd be impressed.

This is what I'm doing.

And I'm fully prepared for bear markets to rape my money for years. I'm leaving it in there.

It's like funny money to me anyway. I am but a simple man. I may never even spend it.
