Steve, good question. I know it sounds silly but doggoneit wouldn't ya know when we submitted the patent we overlooked that detail. Rest assured though, your friendly Amazon™ manager will come and let you out of your Safety Enhancement Device™ whenever you like!

how do you think the transition from man to machine is going to work?

factories (farms) of low wage humans are going to be sitting watching computer monitors of robots or automated machines doing things, and overriding, stopping, logging what they do. it will be one giant physical mechanical turk, using multiple humans to ensure human error is minimized, while the machines will be doing the actual dangerous work.

over time this just improves the reliability without humans, and machine learning means fewer and fewer humans are required to oversee an ever increasing fleet of machines.

i can't wait

I heard the S.E.D. 2 will have time locks to save on manager costs. That true?

You're right, but it's less about saving money and more about giving more freedom and benefits to the employee!

Time-locks, or Robust Verification Sensors™ as we call them at Head Office, are being designed to allow employees more freedom in when they want to choose their Government Mandated Minimum Time-Stoppages™.

Jeff Bezos is a vampire, sent to drain
Amazon employees, gonna take their brains
And what do neets get, from wagie pain?
Chicken tendies, and their vi-de-o games
Even though a-wagie knows, they'll justify having to-go
And be locked in cold, like your told
Despite all my rage I earn my wage in a cage
Despite all my rage I earn my wage in a cage
Then neets will say that a wagie can never be saved
Despite all my rage I earn my wage in a cage

I find my wagecage comforting. It is my turf during my shift I find myself developing territorial feelings toward it like my doggo has toward his travel kennel. It's no big deal you guys grow up
