csw (satoshi) created an AI running in bitcoin. it runs via turing complete 2-pda cellular automata, with oracles running in script that are incentivized thru payments. evolution of the ai was incentivized thru micropayments. blockstream took over bitcoin github to stop satoshis ai. they limited the blocksize and disabled op codes the ai needed to thrive. segwit destoyed it entirely. (it used tx malleability in certain scripts). this is why satoshi forked bitcoin cash and wants to reenable op codes and lock the original protocol. the latest bch boys interview they touch on this ai and the approaching Singularity

The most fundamental of human rights is the right to hold property. There are many who would argue this but the reality is to be free we need to be able to control our lives. To choose how we wish to live and not be beholden to others we need to ensure that we follow a path that we control ourselves. To do this and to live our lives freely we need to be able to control our property and ensure the security and integrity of those rights.

Freedom is the core of what bitcoin and the Blockchain is about. My team and I have been working for several years now on solutions to the issue of property. In the coming months, we will be releasing several papers and solutions to what we see is the problem with the state of the financial system, property and risk transfer.

The primary concern is we see it is the volume of information people can find out about ourselves. Our lives are not private, and they are becoming less and less private over time. This lack of privacy is not about protecting criminal acts but rather empowering the individual to live the life they want to live.

We have been working on redeemable contracts. Our solution is the creation of a form of tradable, secure property rights that have been abstracted from the individual and the use.

An example would be a property title for a house. Because you live in a house does not mean people need to know that you own it. In time, our solution will allow you to separate the ownership and occupation and use of any property. In this example, we divide the ownership of the house into shares that are tradable but that link over the Blockchain to redeemable contracts that are encrypted and stored in a distributed manner across the Internet.

The solution will include a secure voting system and a revenue distribution system. This will allow a homeowner to pay rent on their home at market rates. The rent will be distributed to the property under the shares. Where the homeowner owns 100% of the house, the money will be pseudonymously returned to them.

If they need to raise capital, as an owner of shares in their property, they can sell these on a tradable market. The purchaser of those shares will then retain dividend rights under the lease terms. We will be releasing details of the system shortly in coming months.

In this manner, the homeowner can separate the property rights from the residential rights and reside in a property that they own while not publicly releasing the fact that they own the property. Further, a property owner can reduce the risk of owning a property by sharing the ownership. They could, for instance, exchanged 30% of the shares in their home for shares in other properties. In the event that they owned 100% of their home, the rental income from the other properties would pay for their rent repayments without interest while at the same time allowing them to diversify and reduce the risk of what is arguably the largest investment they will have in their life.

This system will be able to be scaled and will be distributed. It will allow people in repressive countries to move funds and save capital and invest for their future and that of their children. Most importantly those of us who live frugally and don't want people knowing what we have can invest and save without being ostracised and without having to worry about the property we own being taken from us.

In any transfer, a record will be kept. This record will include predation by governments in those countries that do not respect property rights or the rights of the individual.

Our work is far from over, and most of you don't know anything of what I've done. In the coming months, we will be publishing a series of papers documenting the research we have been conducting. There is a reason we have been building supercomputers and hasn't been bitcoin mining. Going forward, it is important that we create the world where people can live their lives as they choose as long as they don't impact on the rights of others.

This involves ensuring that we have the right to save and control our futures without fearing predation. The right to a future without loss caused by the theft of others. The right to live silently if we so choose. The right to invest and make a better world and not be held in contempt for that.

The results of this research is what Bitcoin and the Blockchain are about. A free system to transfer and maintain property.

Rumours continue to circulate as to the person who wrote the Bitcoin paper. Occasionally they are directed at self, but they can equally be directed at all the superlative financial cryptographers listed on this site and many others.

Let's take a moment to ask what we are doing here.
*Satoshi Nakamoto chose to do his work in anonymity*.
Or more technically in psuedoanonymity, as someone who claims to be 'anon' leaves no individual name and cannot be connected forward or backwards in time.

He, assuming it is a he, probably had good reasons for this. Which leaves us pondering why we would disrespect those reasons?

We, all of us, in today's Bitcoin world and yesterday's precursors to that world: cypherpunks, crypto, FC, privacy, mobile money, Tor, the Internet in general, ... we all hold privacy as an article of faith. We built the thing to protect people, and protect their privacy.

If Satoshi Nakamoto chose privacy, by what right or motive do we breach that? None.

There is no doctrine that permits anyone out there to arbitrarily strip out someone's privacy and remain one of us. Quite the opposite: our beliefs and existence call for protecting this person.

Indeed, revealing a stated secret of someone is more or less a crime in many contexts. Intelligence agencies can of course spy on whosoever, but they are not allowed to reveal that information (or, so says the doctrine). Police can demand information, but only pursuant to a crime -- probable cause and all that.

Freedom of the press? Public figures are by their nature afforded less 'privacy' because they are public; but they chose that path, and the courts grant the ability of the paparazzi only certain abilities, in line with the public figures' choice of public life. Paparazzi aren't allowed to chase ordinary folk, and Satoshi Nakamoto clearly chose to be out of that game.

Freedom of the press doesn't cut it. Nor does whistleblower status. Nor does 'public interest' as the public has no conceivable benefit to knowing more.

Those people who are digging around trying to strip this person's privacy are doing so because they haven't been called on it. Because they think it is cool. Because they feel intellectually challenged by the use of nyms, and using a nym is a licence to curiosity.

Wrong.

I call you now: what you are doing is wrong.

In some places it is a crime, because breaching privacy presumes there is another crime to follow: theft or fraud or extortion. It's a good presumption. In all civilised places, breaching privacy is an anathema. We all in this business -- save those sad damned souls with 5 eyes -- are working to *protect our community* not single out vulnerable persons and burn them at the stake.

Get you gone, get you out of our community. Anyone who publically reveals anyone else's private information has no common part with us. Anyone who goes on a witchhunt is our enemy. We are not doing all this work to give a few paparazzi a special scoop. To the person who eventually outs Satoshi Nakamoto I say this: the only place you'll be welcome is the NSA. Get ye there, scum.

In the words of that old film, we are all Satoshi Nakamoto.

I have a few books and another is on the way for 2012. Firstly, I have to plug the first in the Syngress Series of books on IT Audit. This is a comprehensive compliance hand governance handbook with EVERYTHING (from the high level to the hands on for the expert) to get you started in IT compliance and systems security. The main book is "IT REGULATORY AND STANDARDS COMPLIANCE HANDBOOK". This is the first in a series I have planned and more will follow in time. There will be electronic updates to this book over time to maintain it to a current level over time.

I will be working on co-authoring a book on CIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection) - but more on this later.

I co-authored a few chapters of Check Point NGX R65 Security Administration (ISBN: 9781597492454)

I authored the Forensic Chapter of Mobile Malware Attacks and Defense.

Also, the ISC2 CISSP-ISSMP Handbook is available now. I am the author of the chapter on "Law, Investigation, Forensics and Ethics".

Training and Courseware
I am mentoring two SANS courses in addition to my role at CSU.
First, I have the (SEC504) Security 504: Hacker Techniques, Exploits & Incident Handling course. Click and see more on this topic.
Next, there is the (FOR508) Forensics 508: Advanced Computer Forensic Analysis and Incident Response course.
Both of these courses are well warranted and will provide you with a great start in this field. Click and have a read.

AN AUGUST 2008 POST ON WRIGHT’S BLOG, MONTHS BEFORE THE NOVEMBER 2008 INTRODUCTION OF THE BITCOIN WHITEPAPER ON A CRYPTOGRAPHY MAILING LIST. IT MENTIONS HIS INTENTION TO RELEASE A “CRYPTOCURRENCY PAPER,” AND REFERENCES “TRIPLE ENTRY ACCOUNTING,” THE TITLE OF A 2005 PAPER BY FINANCIAL CRYPTOGRAPHER IAN GRIGG THAT OUTLINES SEVERAL BITCOIN-LIKE IDEAS.

A POST ON THE SAME BLOG FROM NOVEMBER, 2008. IT INCLUDES A REQUEST THAT READERS WHO WANT TO GET IN TOUCH ENCRYPT THEIR MESSAGES TO HIM USING A PGP PUBLIC KEY APPARENTLY LINKED TO SATOSHI NAKAMOTO. A PGP KEY IS A UNIQUE STRING OF CHARACTERS THAT ALLOWS A USER OF THAT ENCRYPTION SOFTWARE TO RECEIVE ENCRYPTED MESSAGES. THIS ONE, WHEN CHECKED AGAINST THE DATABASE OF THE MIT SERVER WHERE IT WAS STORED, IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE EMAIL ADDRESS SATOSHIN@VISTOMAIL.COM, AN EMAIL ADDRESS VERY SIMILAR TO THE SATOSHI@VISTOMAIL.COM ADDRESS NAKAMOTO USED TO SEND THE WHITEPAPER INTRODUCING BITCOIN TO A CRYPTOGRAPHY MAILING LIST.

Hats off to you Craig,

Sometimes you amaze me....I literally today just took on a case today
dealing exactly with this, you are making my life easy as I am gathering
(with your permission) this information you have provided for my client's
review.
When this becomes public record, I will post-up the results.

I will take any more information on this subject with great enthusiasm and
appreciation, as always!!!

By the way, for those of you who have never asked for Craig's help, you do
not know what you are missing.
I have asked his research assistance more than once. One particular time it
was dealing with abilities of cookies on the server side, when I awoke the
next morning, I had 100's of pages and links of information on that subject,
and variations and ideas I had not even or forgotten to consider (e.g. web
bugs). Why did he help, for no other than reason than he just likes to
research information, and possibly considers me a friend from afar. He
probably had as much fun reading up on the subject as did.
And along with all the technical details he included this:

Cookie Recipe Ingredients:
125 grams butter
50 grams caster sugar
60 grams brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla essence/extract
125 grams of plain flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
250 grams of chocolate (Dark is best for this)
1/2 cup coarsely chopped almonds

Method: Turn your oven on to preheat at 180 degrees Celsius (about 350
degrees Fahrenheit, gas mark 4). Remember to take your grill pan out first.
Now get some baking trays ready (if they're not non-stick then you better
line them or grease them)......................Hey Presto! The world's BEST
cookies, in the comfort of your own home.

In the midst of this data exchange I casually mentioned that one day, when I
was in the position to not have to work so much, I would return to school
and my dream degrees in Cosmology and Astrophysics. Of course, the next day
I had links to every online study available for those degrees, with a "why
wait wink."
Further, it amazes me how Craig has a Blog helping to understand the rights
of US based Digital Forensic Examiners:
http://gse-compliance.blogspot.com/2008/01/texas-pi-fud.html
And he is based in AU. He simply cares enough about the cause and the
industry to help, it has no direct affect on him if US DFEs are required to
have PI licenses!!

People of the past considered "Loons":
(Feynman, Hawking, Sagan, da Vinci, Einstein, Columbus, everyone associated
with Monty Python and the Holy Grail:
Black Knight: Right, I'll do you for that!
King Arthur: You'll what?
Black Knight: Come here!
King Arthur: What are you gonna do, bleed on me?
Black Knight: I'm invincible!
King Arthur: ...You're a loony.
.......you get the picture)

Yep Craig is a Junkie; a Knowledge Junkie!!!!

For those of you who have nothing good to say; why say anything?

Dave

Respectfully,

Dave Kleiman

In practice it should be progressing towards more of a science than an art. However, very few people treat it this way. Unfortunately, marketing and hype obscures much of what is really important. Many of the simple practices that make a site secure don’t lead to an opportunity to sell services. As such, many of these are ignored.

On top of this, many people have the idea that the only way to test a system is by using a black box format in an attempt to simulate (falsely) what a “hacker” would do. I mean, I am happy to take on organisation's money and spend a day or two doing basic preliminary investigations that any script kiddie can do if they require it of me, but I'm much happier just getting the information from them and saving both of us time and them money. I see far too much hype around the skills related to attacking and breaking into a system and, by far, not enough effort into securing systems. After all, it takes far more skill to properly secure a system than it does to break into one.

In the early 1990s, long before he was suspected of being the elusive creator of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin, Brisbane-raised Craig Steven Wright worked as a saute chef, having trained in French cuisine.

He specialised in game meats and spent three years working with a catering company according to his lengthy and remarkable LinkedIn profile.

[...]

In addition to his consulting engagements he is also named as an author of several books and articles on digital forensics.

Dr Craig Steven Wright’s first PhD was in theology, achieved in 2003 with a dissertation titled “Gnarled roots of a creation theory”.

[...]

In November 1997, he launched a Sydney-based company DeMorgan, apparently named after Augustus De Morgan, a 19th century British mathematician and logician.

DeMorgan is described as “a pre-IPO Australian listed company focused on alternative currency, next generation banking and reputational and educational products with a focus on security and creating a simple user experience”.

The business has more than a dozen companies focussed on crypto-currency under its umbrella, including his proposed bank, Denariuz, while others are directed towards online education.
