Before a crisis you should still be all stocks, there are so many recessions indicators you can see it miles away when rearing it's ugly head: yield curve reversing, monthly MAs crossing down, meme lines breakout, etc... so sure, why would the rating agencies do it? why not just keep lying like they have been? the answer: because now rates are rising. the proof has to be in the pudding, and if its not, theres no way they can retroactively make it seem like theyre good for it. and as rates continue to rise, it will become harder and harder to fake it, like they obviously have been. theres definitely going to be a breaking point if the FED keeps tightening, and again, i think thats the whole point of what the FED is doing rn.

theres some serious fat that needs to be trimmed if were going to ACTUALLY go golden bull. tons and tons of these big companies are in situations where theyve been able to roll debt into more debt and NEVER pay back principal. if they cant make money w historically/artificially low rates like the last decade, there is literally no way theyll be profitable in THIS environment.

i think the FED is gradually leading some of these corps off to the pasture, but a fair share of them are being led directly into the slaughterhouse as well. and theyre the big names too. the ones that RHers and other user friendly apps clientele have been pumping. someone had to hold the bags. this was the point of RH and the surge of commission free/user friendly apps. the timing is just too uncanny. they needed greater fools to dump into so that it could stay propped up long enough to get out

Completely over i'm not so sure. Last November there was a sharp decline followed by a bounce. Some tickers set new ATH on that bounce.
