I certainly hope so, it’s my 2nd largest bag.

Isn't there some chart somewhere that shows an almost perfect inverse correlation between mainstream media news and market action? Just do the opposite of what the media Jews say and you'll be rich.

I really do think monero has one of the best chances in crypto of becoming as successful as bitcoin has simply because it does what most early adopters of bitcoin wanted btc for in the first place.

Monero is much harder to understand compared to bitcoin, drives away the normies. Seriously, have you tried to mess around with the public and private address/viewing keys? It's confusing as shit, and the absence of a public ledger hurts.

>> No.10897618

dash is worth more than monero, and has a better chance of adoption.

Monero is an offshore account without having to bother with the fees, paper trails, and middlemen of offshore accounts. Just a few clicks and your money is secured beyond the reach of taxation and law enforcement.

When the billionaire caste realize this, there will an exodus of capital into XMR that'll make bitcoin's historic trajectory look like a weak piss stream in comparison.

they wrote at the end that those estimation are done based on traditional methods and pretty much exlude speculation, next one (probably a (((paid one)))) will supposedly have more accurate price targets.

I agree with them that most shitcoins will go to 0 and blockchains will just get forked with no tokens used but I don't think the market is smart enough to figure it out within a year otherwise I would be shorting the fuck out of xrp or eos right now

Nah, not really. It will protect you until you're a big enough fish for them to throw some resources at. It's basically like using a web proxy or locking your bike with a $20 lock made in China.

>Monerofags actually believe this

you do realize there are probably over 100 privacy coins? If I'm a dictator trying to dump all my money, why should I use Monero? Because some autists on /biz/ told me to?

No. I'd probably invest in 5 of them just to be safe.

>> No.10898026

That has been fixed. Realistically now 80% of tx are unanalyzable. That paper is old fud and if you had any knowledge of cryptography you would know the last fork addressed that

>> No.10898039

>>10898018
Yes. Some of them are safe. Only forks of CN coins are actually private. And they offer less privacy than monero due to less mixins. Clearly you don’t understand the tech.

>> No.10898052

>>10898018
There are 3 coins right now that are actually private and making strides. It’s not fucking dero before those pajeets come here. But realistically none of them are more private than xmr at this point in time

>> No.10898054

>>10898026
> if you had any knowledge of cryptograph
I'm a programmer with a background in crypto. I just don't follow the project that closely. That said, a 20% chance that your transactions are traceable is not doing its job. Also, calling it FUD when someone points out a legitimate flaw in your project makes you sound like a pajeet. If it was FUD then there would have been nothing to fix.

>> No.10898106

>>10898054
If you are a programmer than you understand that nothing is perfect and it is a cat and mouse game. I’ve had about half a dozen commits accepted to xmr so I have a bit of knowledge how it works. If you tumble your funds 1x it’s over 99% impossible to analyze. Ring signatures are the worst form of cryptography except all the others and it’s a constant process. Don’t buy monero if you don’t want to. But I can be sure that dash/verge/shitforks are less private for a dozen reasons

>> No.10898108

>>10898052
So basicly xmr is the best of the 3 coins. I think another one is zcash. What are the others? I read moner o stole dero's codr from 4 months ago and pretended it was their own.

>> No.10898125

>>10898054
80% is conservative. It might be 85%. It’s much better than what anyone else is offering. Anyone saying 100% privacy is lying. It’s not possible. Try building an inpenetrable wall. It’s not possible. There are degrees of certainty

>> No.10898138

How can you buy it without the government finding out?

>> No.10898145

>>10898108
I don’t like zcash. It’s really cool tech but as it stands it’s not private and won’t be at any point soon. A big part of privacy is herd immunity. As long as no one uses z addresses it won’t be private. It is still extremely susceptible to analysis because there are so few happening. dero could be really cool, but they are too shady imo. I would say the best privacy coins right now with a chance of actually being good are in decinding order: monero, masari, aeon, nerva, and if you wanted 1 more wownero is actually doing cool stuff. However. Aeon is essentially dead atm
