You can't use the XRP Ledger without XRP. Ripplenet, which is the regulated payment network replacing Swift, can be used without XRP. It would be idiotic to force banks to use a cryptocurrency, but they will have the ability to do so when it makes sense.

No one gives anyone 20 XRP. It stays in your wallet until a later date when the reserve is lowered.

I have re read that doc...it don't mention about securities...it was about AML/KYC, the only thing you can really get from that is ripple were not in compliance and a fine had to be paid for the AML part, breaking the bank secrecy act...The NPA was abut the bank secrecy act not abut securities. Anywho it doesn't matter as it is expired!

This is the only 'evidence' you XRP fags use to prove its not a security...I suggest you read that doc a bit closer Anon. It is a negative doc against ripple, it shows that they have not been compliant in the past.
