calling another coin "silver" because it has arbitrarily x4 the supply is self-delusion, there's no gold-like physical property to the original coin to begin with. why not skip the "gold" coin altogether if its feature is high fees and use directly the small fee feature "silver"?

because even if we accept your premise there are already much better examples of "silver" than LTC

it has the highest scrypt hashrate and is therefore the most secure scrypt coin. if there is any type of silver:gold analogy it starts with the hashing algorithms

One of the best things about holding LTC is any new, normie platform always includes it with BTC, BCH, ETH. Thus giving it much more liquidity than others. Good luck waiting for QTUM, ARK or Zilliqa to be added to any normie platforms anytime soon.

LTC isn't a good store of value because BTC exists and fulfills that role fine.

LTC isn't a good exchange currency since coins/tokens like BCH and 0xBTC are better.

So what does LTC have going for it besides novelty?
