This is a key question.

$1 million is dogshit
$5 million is decent
$10 million sounds good
$20 million ideal

Factor in getting raped by taxes if you dump, plus the cuckerment will put you on a list people that owned btc

Also consider the risk of fiat crashing, wouldn't surprise me, the USD is about to complete the average cycle of how much a currency last being world reserve currency.

If you are left holding no bitcoins when that happen you may consider suicide as 1 bitcent alone could buy you that plane with the model bitch included.

I just think the timeframe in mind is too low. Maybe towards the end of our life we see total collapse but in the meantime I don't think a complete collapse is imminent, so we get to live comfy. Next generation is fucked, we've been blessed with crypto (right place right time), what do they have? Nothing.

How fucking delusional is that? Who makes a solid living with their hobbies? the 0.1%??

I already make money with adsense, I mean fuck, im lucky enough that I don't need to wagecuck, it's not much, and I love trying to improve my earnings, but when money enters the equation you no longer do things with your own schelude, you can go and think "im going to make a masterpiece", you need to chunk out content which means lesser quality which means you arent doing what you like to do.

So I want a solid $10 millions. After taxes rape like half of it, I would buy a million dollar crib, spend another 2 million on other properties, parking spots and whatnot, and put it to generate money for me. THEN i will feel like doing what I like to do. So If need to spend 5 months making a track I will be doing it because I want to do it, not because I need fucking money. Again, no good art ever comes out when money is in the equation.

Crypto is just the beginning for me. I'm cashing out enough for stable savings. Then enough to start a business that will hopefully earn more crypto. Goal is to continuously create businesses and products with emerging technologies starting with my crypto jump start and snowballing into more and more assets and creations. I'll take 1-2 1-3 week vacations every year (starting with just 1 for 1 week, growing as assets grow) in increasing extravangance as my disposible income grows. I will have minimum five children, preferably closer to ten, and nest eggs for each. All my free time not spent running a business will be spent on extreme sports.

1 million = 40k a year, can live a mediocre life free of wagecucking, but you're riding the line
2 million = 80k a year, can live a comfy live free of wagecucking, maybe travel once in a while
4 million = 160k a year, can live a very comfy life, even if you travel frequently
8 million = 320k a year, can live completely beyond your means, can go where you want when you want, can start a business on a whim or say fuck it and live it up the rest of your life, or change your mind. whatever. you won't go hungry.

REITs are very good in terms of reward. Other than good luck with individual stocks, that's going to be the main thing pushing your fund over market-average. You should be keeping a decent amount of money in 30 days bonds, so you can easily get cash if you need with, without having it sit there doing nothing. I’ve realized that freedom from having to work is the biggest source of happiness for me, so if I had $1-5m there’s no way I’d risk it trying to become even more wealthy. I don’t believe anyone needs more than $2-3m to achieve peak happiness, because anything more than that is just for stroking the ego and buying pointless shit you don’t need.

On the other hand, getting up at the crack of dawn when it’s 15 degrees below freezing so you can go to your 9-5 slave job and constantly be stressed about getting fired or laid off is a pretty big source of unhappiness. A few million bucks solves that problem.

>> No.10756031

>>10747148
I’m in it for the real money. $1MM is nothing, legitimately wont change your life at all. $5MM you can retire and live like a middle class person which is ok but personally I want to be rich. $10MM is my absolute minimum. That’ll be like $7MM after taxes I can make a comfy $300k/yr with that and go on nice vacations and stuff, afford a $1MM home with ease, etc. which is reasonable. But I’m trying to hold out for at least $25MM which is essentially lower deity tier. $18MM I can put $10MM in blue chips for a comfy $500k/yr, $5MM in low tier real estate in booming cities for around 15-20 properties and hire some jackass to manage them for me - that’s another $200k/yr in profits I can pocket as well. Put $2MM in the bank for oh shit reasons. Take $1MM and start a business and see how far I can take it, just for fun. Within 5 years my profits from investments should be exceeding the $1MM annual range, will have somewhere around $20MM in investments, and maybe a successful business I can hire a CEO to keep running. Retire and travel the world, indulge in hobbies, and buying nearly anything I want whenever I want it save for truly extravagant items. When I’ve built up $50MM I will take half of it and put it away for my kids. I’ll take 10 and put it towards my old age retirement plan. I’ll take the last 15 and slowly blow it on stupid shit to entertain my family. When that runs out hopefully kids will be like 30 and I’ll gift them their stacks, I’ll be like 65 and ready to just chill out in a small house and live a middle class lifestyle until I die off my $500k/year, continuing to put away $200k/year til I die at which point my kids will inherit that last bit and be able to do the same for them and their kids if they weren’t retarded with their initial money. Cashing out at $1MM is literal peanuts you’ll have 600-700k after taxes and you will have not taken advantage of this opportunity really at all.

$2 milly post-taxes = 90% cashout, anyone who doesn't do this at that point is begging to lose it all

$2M invested vanguard x .04 (safe withdrawal rate) x .8 (20% jewtaxes) = ~$65k every year for life, which adjusts to inflation. There's your fuck you money, you recoup all your time and have the rest of your life to focus on enjoying yourself, pursuing your real passions, etc.

Anyone holding on for more just because they unironically want a rolex, lambo and mansion is a slave to money and status and even if you luck out and manage to get those things, you still won't have made it. Your things will own you, not the other way around. And by virtue of owning a bunch of shiny fucking objects rather than a fat stack of cash that earns interest for you, you'll most likely be poor again after you buy those status symbols.

Another point to make, I am really fucking actually glad to see that most people think $10MM is the bare minimum for cashout time. It means during the next bubble when my stack is approaching 1, 2, 3 mil, I don't have to near as much worry about getting dumped on because I know this market will be full of dumb assholes with an 'eight figures or bust' mentality who are going to HODL through the peak again because they're just so close, their folio is 5 mil, they just need another 2x, it's sooo cloooose... then I'll take a hot dump on their heads, make out with my gains while they REEEEE through the bubble crash caused by people with half a clue cashing out their life-changing wealth while they can rather than waiting for it to double a few more times.

Everyone's expecting a recession around 2020-2021, but I don't think real-estate will be hit as hard as last time. Real estate is too interlinked with finance to not go down in a recession, but it probably won't be the focal point like in 2008.

I'd totally cash out 75% of my assets in crypto if I ever hit 1mill. after the tax man takes hit cut I'd still have around $500,000 enough to buy a good house in cash, pay off the cars, and invest in normal assets like stocks, bonds, and gold/silver.

could I retire? no, but I don't really want to. I could get a part time job instead (places like UPS offer full benefits for part timers) and work 25 hours a week with so much time to enjoy life how I want.

biggest nightmare is buyiing some real state and then not be able to rent it

as to living in your house, then well im in spain and i cant find good houses for less than 500.000€ unless they are in some village where only old people live and still they will be old ass houses, i want a modern looking nice house with a pool anything else is death

wtf is wrong with you? what exactly do you need 1MM/year for? people in developed countries live fine on under 50k year, people travel the world on budgets even lower than that. So what the fuck is it that you need to buy in your daily life that costs that much?

I'll try to extract as much money as possible. That will be hopefully more than 500k, but let's see what will happen. If I would live alone, then 500k would actually be enough to retire. I could maybe get a laid back job related to some hobby if I feel like it. 2 million would let me retire with a wife and kids.

When I hit my target ($2 - 4 mill) I'm out of crypto for good. Any crypto trading I do is for fun / learning - and I have a funny feeling that money will come easier when you're just playing, with mental peace of mind and clarity.

3.2 million profit off crypto would be ideal. Cash out half and put that into a diverse mutual fund that following the 4% rule would get a comfy 50K USD every year after taxes. The rest staying in crypto because it is obviously the future and will get us out of the Fascist Globalist Corpratist Hegomnic Society and guide us into the future of decentralized Anarcho Capitalist society.
