Why do people even "invest" in companies that don't pay a dividend? It's literally the definition of Greater Fool's Theory, where you expect someone else to take those bags off you, at a higher price, at a later date.

You may "own" a slice of said company, but you reap no rewards from its operations. Heck you aren't even entitled to its assets if it folds.

Something I'm curious about for any of the intraday traders out there. On average after the opening drive when things have settled a little, on a long position do you guys typically try to enter on the bids, the offer, or somewhere in between? I have a tendency to try to enter on the bids, but obviously miss more moves this way than I would like and get put into the situation of having to chase. Wondering if that's a pretty bad practice on my part and in the long run I'd be better off trying to skip ahead of the bid or just nail the offer like in faster markets.

ok i'm practicing reading reports to make sense of this bullshit

As of May 11, 2018, there were 82,655,182 shares of common stock,
As of June 29, 2018, there were: 249,870,588 shares of common stock outstanding;
July 6 HMNY proposes amendment to increase shares from 500 million to 5 billion, and also 250 r/s

As of August 14, 2018, there were 636,867,521 shares of common stock,
July 25,2018
reverse split goes through and there were 328,000 shares.

OK i was super confused about the numbers but i realize its so confusing because they've been issuing new shares the entire time.
So even from here they have another round of 10x dilution .

I'm just confused because the 250 split went through and the quarterly reports don't seem to show the amount of shares ever reduced by 250 times.

Had limit sells set at various levels above my cost average, which I always do with options/warrants if liquidity is especially low, and today thing shot up 18% on a buy in from one single person hitting my sell order. I find the two companies very comparable; both in price, and in the shares outstanding.

Micron has; all time made 342% over 9 years time.
Intel has made 39,200% over 40 years time; with a 10% annual div.
Perhaps I have made a mistake? Perhaps Intel provides more income back to it's investors? I can't tell what's going wrong. Money does not lie; what form of manipulation is this?

NVDA may be worth snatching up if it drops a bit more. The dip due to China concerns is overblown IMO. People forgot that they are so dominant in their market segment there is basically no competition (AyyyyMD's GPUs are lightyears behind).
