Long time trader but first time miner here. Is this miner here worth it? Don't have a lot to start with, so this seemed like a good deal.

Bump

>> No.10666415

you need more than one for mining to be worth it

No you absolute tard. Here’s a better litecoin miner directly from bitmain that is a hatter of the price. Half if you include power supply and shipping.

Are you double retarded? That coin serves no purpose

Listen to this anon.

Mine ChainLink

Nice price discount. Thanks. Why wouldn't i want to mine ltc though? Couldn't i just trade it for eth or btc? And would i still be profitable?

>> No.10666523

What all coins could i mine with this miner? I know scrypt based so what are some examples, and most worth while coin to mine.

Ltc hashrate is crazy high so the roi is shit

Right. But im just looking for a little side cash. How much a month could i expect to clear with featured miner after electricity?

>> No.10666549

>>10666530
So, i wouldn't make the 300 bucks back invested in the miner?

No mining is going to make a profit right now unless you live in a third world country or you steal electricity.

Believe me, I know first hand pic related

>> No.10666574

>>10666549
You would eventually but it would take forever

Use whattomine.com or some other mining calc to figure out your numbers

And always buy directly from the manufacturer (wether it be bitmain or another). The only ones getting resold thirdparty are overpriced or no longer profitable

>> No.10666579

>>10666535
It depends how much your electricity bill is. I can tell you if you’ll make a profit just by you telling me what country you live in

>> No.10666581

Mine whatever is most profitable and sell for what you want. I am a fairly large miner

Nope. If you’re paying over $0.05/kWh you might as well give up.

Steal electricity.

What if i was hypothetically stealing power? What kind of profit would i turn? Hypothetically, of course ;)

>> No.10666745

>>10666660
Stealing that much power would seriously raise the electricity bill of whoever you’re stealing from to the point where they would immediately start investigating why. Stealing electricity is also a felony and not worth it

Well, then you can easily calculate how much LTC you’d make with one L3 asic

It’s currently $1.77 a day if you mine scrypt on nicehash.

>> No.10666887

You’d make back the cost of the miner in about 225 days with stealing electricity

>> No.10666929

>>10666887
Not worth it then. So what kind of equipment should i be getting? Is there any equipment that would be profitable?

>> No.10666963

>>10666929
Buy some GPUs and mine interesting new coins.

Or buy a SHA256 asic you make about $4 a day but they are twice the price

What if i created a bullshit coin, premined it, and shilled it. Is there any money in that?

>> No.10666996

>>10666929
The crypto market is basically fucked until all the malinvestments fade away. We need all these ICOs and bullshit projects like Chainlink to finally die. And then a rebirth can happen.

This current malaise is symptomatic of huge malinvestment. Almost as bad as Soviet Russia. Just need the market to get a bit smarter and dump these ICO parasites to the ground make them poor and teach them a lesson and then we can fly again

You can try if you think you have the skills. If you do have any skills then drop a throwaway email I could do with someone to handle US business development in my startup consultancy I’m based in east Asia.

If you created it you can just give yourself a certain amount. But those coins never take off. If you pull off another TRTL you could retire by doing the mining thing.
