Has there ever been a single "unit" of ANYTHING worth $50,000?

Why would any rational person think a virtual investment asset would be purchased on an exchange for $50,000?

A single unit is a satoshi. If BTC is $50,000 then each sat is only $0.0005.

1 bit = 50 cent

and suddenly it's something with a single "unit" worth 50 cent.

You don't count your gold with it kg right ? at least market doesn't. Market uses gr or oz.

None of that shit matters bro. If it's price keeps going up more and more people WILL buy it. That's all that matters. We won't see a bullrun before we break 20k. Then suddenly we'll get a new surge of interest and new people will get involved etc etc. The best way to increase adoption is to increase the price. The price of bitcoin is literally everything.

why are you assuming the unit is BTC and not satoshi?

what do you consider "One Unit of Gold" ? 1 gram? 1 kg? 1 ton? a single ton of gold is like $60MM+

>> No.10566271

>>10566135

there are 160 million kilogram of gold on earth.
there are 16 million bitcoins on earth.

how do you measure one "unit" of gold? you dont, you define it yourself. to make it comparable to the uniqueness of bitcoin, one "unit" of gold should be:

1 bitcoin = 10 kg gold.

10 kg gold is roughly worth 400k USD at current prices.

satoshi is the divisible unit tho, that's what you should be looking at. bitcoin isn't the unit, satoshi is.

Viewing BTC as having to be one whole unit is retarded. It's divisible so who the fuck cares if one is worth a lot. Retarded people like you are why high supply coins skyrocket. Ffs.

You divide the unit in satoshis

Buffet's stock is the only solid and convincing argument.

The entire attempt to dissect the semantics of BTC and Satoshis and relating it to how you value gold is just your typical coping mechanism to convince yourself you're did the right thing by owning BTC.

The reality is, and the reason I ask myself this same question: how do we get "mainstream" adopters to pay $50,000 for one BTC?
(I don't care about satoshis, or that I'm using BTC/USD as my example).

Seriously: who is buying BH shares for 300k+? And Do you think they'd be willing to buy BTC for $50k+?

there will be and it will be worth much worth than 50k for one simple reason - Internet economy is superior to regular boomer economy. To enter into nasdaq investment you need illuminati dollars or other fiats, to enter internet economy you need a bitcoin which is not controlled (in theory) by any governmental unit and most importantly - by the banks and wall street itself

1 Kilo Gold Bar is close. It’s crazy just like bitcoin it can be broken down into bits and sold by the gram or ounces. I think 1 bitcoin is more like 1 Kilo of Gold.
