it's just a hardfork of an older version of BTC with raised blocksize.

This argueably makes it a lot closer to the original idea that bitcoin was based on (often referred to as "satoshi's vision")

Other than that, it's utterly unremarkable. Because it never went through an organic growth like the BTC network, a physical (e.g. miner based) attack is quite likely.
