This is the dumbest fud yet. If you are a bank in Chicago or wherever the fuck else, the contract could specify that the source provider be say in DC when the FED announces rates so that the contracts executes at the millisecond of the announcement rather than the minute delay. I remember the multi billion dollar FED trade executed in Chicago in 2013 that got the SEC involved because they executed the order before it was possible for the data to get to them.If the data provider is the Bloomberg terminal, the feed comes to and can be executed by a node in NYC so no lag time. If corn CME aggie contract I'm sure that the banks using the nodes can specify that the nodes the contract executes from be in that city/region. If I were say JP Morgan and I am using LINK for trading I would set up node opertations in Manhattan, DC, London, Chicago, Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo and San Francisco to tackle that issue.

I cant speak for the rest of the exchanges, and i cant find it, but ive seen a screenshot that shows the binance exchange wallet only holds 6m link.

There is very little trading on link. It has low volume. I refuse to believe that there is a huge number of hodlers hodling on exchanges. I believe the link address numbers are pretty fucking close to accurate. Theres only a few people with shitloads of link. Why dont you go look and see how many of those 22k wallets only hold a few thousand tops? By wallet 1k were already down to wallets holding only 9 or 10k usd worth of link.
