What is a good bank to store my shekels in?

I hate that my current bank doesn't have any customer service on weekends and I have to dispute a fraudulent charge but I can't because nobody is there to pick up.

Most banks are closed during the weekends OP.

I guarantee you whatever you bought today will be 10% or more cheaper next week. You're about to learn why it's bad to FOMO buy.

Your local/regional credit union. They don't gamble depositor money. (Supposedly).

The expression "banker's hours" exists for a reason
Banks aren't there to help you, moreso the other way around unfortunately

Is depositing cash important to you? If it isn't go sign up with a branchless bank. You don't even need branches now a days because you can deposit a check with an app on a smartphone. I use Ally but Discover and Capital One 360 is comparable too. The interest rates are high which means you get to earn more cash than BoA or whatever chain banks are giving. Ally will pay for $10 of ATM fees per month which is sick because my old bank would charge me a fee to use an ATM from another bank. If you have to deposit cash use a community bank or a credit union. I like community banks better because I'd rather be a customer than a member.

Oooh, I never visit the bank in person.

Why I use cash for lots of small stuff. Don't flash checks and cards around.

I'd suggest Capital One 360 or Ally. They're about the same. Capital One has a few branches so that's nice, but they're not everywhere. Capital one has no fees while Ally has no fees besides a 1% fee on international debit card uses. Capital One's interest rate is lower. I don't know if Capital One will reimburse your ATM fees. Do your own research to decide what's better.
