What will BTC and alts do when the CBOE ETF decision is announced? Approved, Denied, Delayed. Bear in mind that even with approval we won't have ETFs online until at least Q1 2019. What happens?

>Approved: Bitcorn flash pump to 12k, settles at 10 and alts go for a short bull run shortly after, with BTC dominance falling to 40%. Slow steady rise to BTC 100k over the next 6 months, with alts along for the ride.
>Delayed: Nothing happens and everything stays perfectly sideways until the next approval deadline, except alts bleed a little more from disinterest.
>Denied: BTC crashes to 5k and dominance rises to 80%. Most alts flat-out die and 50% of projects exit scam cashing out whatever next-to-worthless ETH they have left. Multi-year bear ahead.

I think we are overdue for some bull action.

Was about to make this thread. I un-ironically agree with OP.

I'm all in alts like a true /biz user so I'm praying it's approved

I personally feel there is to much money in this for them to flat out reject it

Why would we "settle" at 10k after we breach fucking 12k? Are you dumb? If the ETF gets approved and BTC pumps above 12k, then we won't see it stopping until we pump much higher than that.
Retracements will obviously happen, but SETTLING at 10k after a massive bullrun along with an actual ETF approval? Fuck no.

Delusion. If it's approved BTC will run and alts will die. If it's delayed BTC will sideways and alts will die. If it's denied BTC will die and alts will die. Only possible set of outcomes.

remember what happened last time the etf was "denied"?

bull run to december then small dump, then huge bullrun begins in q1 2019

Honestly because ETF news and the perceived likelihood of its success is well priced in by now. That's evidenced by the fact of us settling around 8k. When the news does hit, yes, more money on the sidelines will flow in, but realistically the majority of interested is already holding in anticipation of a yes vote. Remember the actual ETF and the influx of normie money won't come until the ETF is online in 2019.

I said we'd head to 100k after, it just won't be instantaneous. We'll need some news cycles, normies re-engaging with crypto, etc before major price action happens which could take a week or three after the announcement.

Alts always follow BTC bull runs, even if they have to wait for it to catch its breath before they make a move. Why would ETF news be any different outcome?

ETF denied, alts and ETH go for another bull run like in January-May 2017. screen cap this. eth/btc ratio is almost at a local low....it WILL happen.

My alts got slaughtered Jan-May. Yes there was the may alt pump but it's not like any of them broke their ATH except for, like, EOS and ZRX and BNB. And ETH only 'ran' because it was recovering from EOS marketing selling so much of its ether the month before.

Approved: pump to 10k, then slow bleed sub 1k
Delayed: small dump, then slow bleed sub 1k
Denied: big dump to 5k, then slow bleed sub 1k

ETF literally doesn't matter and there's no reason to expect anyone to buy it. Bitcoin (and all shitcoins) are completely worthless and there's no reason for them to have a market cap of hundreds of billions of dollars.

>there's no reason for them to have a market cap of hundreds of billions of dollars.

And that's why it does have this huge marketcap for years now, even when retards like you said it could never happen.

If approved it will drop "It was already priced in"
If denied it will drop because "Lol everyone saw this coming brainlet"
