pic related. I unironically live in a van and have been doing this all day over the summer and maybe trade some crypto. Today was probably the perfect day. I can't imagine missing out on a day like today. Much better than being a wage cuck.

In the winter I own a small house out in the desert that I paid only $100k for in cash, so, yes boomers, I am a home owner too, it's just that I don't play by your jew rules.

This is the future. I made my wealth and I don't need to work for years. The 4 hour long work days aren't exactly what the future will be. Instead if will be people working very hard for a few years, then taking a decade off or some shit. Or people working freelance from time to time. We just need to break away from the real estate jew and the fiat jew and we're practically free.

pretty much same here, live in a van most of the time as well, but i have a lot of friends/family where i live so i can bounce around between their houses. Also own a small home in Arizona. I'm a Canadian tho and live most of the year in Vancouver, but between November-February go to Arizona.

The way I've calculated it I have enough savings to continue this lifestyle for about 20 years at this burn rate, assuming no income, but I often generate some income through freelance work and recently have begun enjoying flipping items on ebay, just sourcing them locally at garage sales, estate sales, stuff like that, nothing serious but I find the "treasure hunt" aspect to be fun, and so far somewhat profitable.

The best part of living like this is the freedom. If I want to lay out in the sun all day tomorrow I can do that, I don't have to be anywhere or answer to anyone. If I want to work on a project all day, I can do it, if I want to spend the next week reading books, I can do that too. Really it's how life should be for everyone. I feel for anyone stuck doing something out of necessity that they don't want to be doing. Miserable.

i've lived that way for a few years now, like i said though i have access to a lot of friends/family homes so it's not as extreme as some, but really when I go on stints of exclusively living out of the van it's really not a big deal. I can shower daily at the gym (24/7 access) and go there to lift anyway so it's convenient. I only shit once a day and do that at the gym too, pissing isn't a big deal, anyone that spends significant amount of time out of their house is going to use public rest rooms to piss anyway. Almost never get harassed by cops, you learn where to park, I talk to maybe one cop per year. Internets fine, I have access through my cellphone if I don't have public wifi access.

Really there's zero downside and I guarantee my monthly expenses are lower than yours by a huge percentage (or lower than whatever your parents pay on your behalf)

Don't know why people so scared to shit/shower outside of their house. I only shit/shower once per day and it takes 15 minutes in the morning at the gym where I would go to lift anyway regardless of my living situation.

Anyway you're missing the point, living unconventionally opens up two options for you:

-absolute freedom on a minimal budget, allowing you to do whatever you want day-to-day, best if you're somewhat extroverted and enjoy spending time outside of your house

or

-save huge amounts of money that you can invest or put towards paying off a future home. I went from paying $2000-2400/month total expenses living in a 1bdrm apartment downtown to paying maybe $400/mo total expenses living in my van, and I could reduce that even further if I wanted. Albeit my income's not consistent but if I were to start working more I could literally save like ~$40k+/year living this way, versus barely being able to save $3k-5k/year before.

I think what I'm missing is a wife. I'm 25 and it's hard to find a good roastie even on the beach. Most of them are fooled by careers and don't really want marriage. Never understood the big city meme. We have a thing called the internet, which connects all of us. You can access the internet even in bumfuck middle of nowhere. The damn banks have inflated the housing market where most of these wageslaves can't afford these houses. Oh really, you're going to pay 50% of your income toward a fucking house for 30+ years just to live near your boss Mr. Sheckelstein and your little cube? ON TOP OF THAT YOU PAY 30%+ TO THE GOVERNMENT. Yeah, no. Fuck that. I want to work hard and produce something too, but not for Mr. Sheckelstein.
