OP it's just called a "Homemaker" and you sound like you're romanticizing it. Great you can do basic household chores, everyone should be able to do that. That's not actually creating a good home environment though.
If you really are interested in being a homemaker you are probably going to be dating someone working very long hours to support both of you and will need a lot of help managing their lives. If you think this will somehow be less work than an actual job then you're not doing it right. Especially if you have kids in the picture. If you're a lazy ass, or you aren't doing enough to help manage your collective life with your partner, they will (rightfully) resent your lazy ass and find someone else.
Ask yourself these things:
Are you a handy with tools, painting, fixing things? What can you maintain without exterior help? What about interior and exterior design? How well can you cook? Is it good enough to impress coworkers/clients/boss if there's a work event? What about vacation and event planning? Can you manage a broad social circle to make sure you and your wife aren't isolated? Are you good at managing personal home finances like taxes and budgets?
If all you can do is cook some halfway decent food and keep everything moderately clean then you're as useless and any other child pretending they can play house.
