In all seriousness, what are the realistic chances of $2 (2018), $20 (2019), and $200 (2020)?

Of course, you should be asking if it can reach $10k

It is still overvalued. The Market cap should be something like 25 Million.

In all seriousness, Chainlink is a meme. Its the way of /biz/ to have fun with new users.
Obviously you can't just take an obivous scam like Dentacoin or DeepBrainChain to fool the newbs, you need some mysterious, very quiet token to make it believeable.

>> No.10404549

>>10404374
0%. Price will stay below $2 for next couple of months. After that Mainnet will be released followed directly by announcements of partnerships. Every holder of chainlink will realize that link is worth multiple billions and price directly shoots to $50 in 3 days missing the 2$. 200 will be reached not much later

If you fell for the link is a meme is a meme meme is a meme of a meme being a meme then you deserve to be poor.

Buy Link Anons. You will not ever want to come back to /biz once it begins liftoff if you are a no-linker.

No, why would a json parser ever be worth that much? Vitalik could code in his own json parser if he wanted to, and it would be trivial to do.

>is it possible for chainlink to reach $2?
Yes: as the world's multiquadrillion dollars worth of interbank transactions purposefully migrates into & beyond the blockchain, institutional holders will allow the value of link to grow up beyond the price that anyone smaller than they can afford. It already broke $1.60(?) without even a functional public testnet. A more proportionally correct question would be: can chainlink reach $2,000? The answer, I believe, is: yes; but when? With my lay understanding of information technology, financial institutions & market cycles, I predict seven years until my present stack of 20,000 LINK is worth forty million dollars.

Actually, this is a pretty good analogy, because Bitcoin is unusable. The only reason people are buying it is because they expect to sell it at a higher price. That's literally it. As a currency, it's worthless, and as a store of value? Don't make me laugh.

>> No.10405385

I'd say it stays where it is, honestly Vitalik and his team could code this up in a day.

Bitcoin had worth when it wasn't tracked. Now it's only pricey because (((they))) got regular jackoffs to hop onboard. It's inherently worthless now that it's tracked, but that won't keep boomers from inflating the price.
