this is a cry for help.

I "have" 2 credit cards at the limit (one 1500 and the other 900). It was ok at the beginning, I just purchased PC parts and paid them off quickly, but I started buying small stuff along the way and now I'm going to fall in really deep debt.

How do I control myself from buying vidya and shit I don't need? I want to finish up my PC and have at least 10k saved before I move out of my parents house in around 7-8 years (im 19).

this is some calculations:

27h per week (need to go to college)
9$/h
972$
-160 from my part of the phone bill
-100 for rent (not asked to pay but I feel like I need to at least help with what I can)
-40 for gas

672$ which I don't know how much I'm getting taxed (I live in FL and my dad makes 60k a year if someone can calculate off of that).

What should I do bros?

Been there done that
Said fuck it, paid off all my credit cards, then shredded them
Do what I did: get an Mturk account, do paid surveys, and transfer your earnings to your Amazon gift card balance when you have enough to buy that game or whatever. (I buy yugioh cards)
It really doesn't take as long as you think, it's just about being persistent and being in the right place at the right time. I did a 1-minute survey last week for $2.00, and got invited to participate in a time-diary study (just answered some text messages over the weekend) and got a $10 bonus.

>destroy all credit cards
>start pirating everything on sight
>never gamble in your life
this is what I did, after this I never had any considerable debt in my name ever again

I heard that a lot of cosplayers in events are escorts. There is a codeword you have to know in order to let them know you want to have her over for the night.

They are pretty expensive tho.

Yeah I think I'm going to finish my backlog in games, play some old ps2/gc games and then pirate some more to entertain myself from spending any money on shit I don't need.

I have no earthly idea why you need to pay $160/month for a phone bill. Yikes. If you're careful with your phone usage, you should be able to easily drop it to $70/month or even lower. If you are near places where WiFi is easily and freely available, you could probably drop your costs to under $20/month.
