Close your eyes, try to clear any thoughts you are having
Take long, slow, deep breathes and put all your focus and attention onto your breathing
iiiiiiiinnnn.................... ooooooooooooouuuut

good. Do this for a few minutes, then -
VISUALIZE yourself becoming rich through your LINK investment
ANTICIPATE the things you will buy with your new found abundance of wealth
IMAGINE as though it is all happening now in the present moment, for the present moment is all that truly exists
MOST IMPORTANTLY
FEEL the way you will FEEL when that moment comes and you make it!
FEELING THE EMOTION IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN JUST VISUALIZING THE IMAGES!

Now open your eyes, look in a mirror, and recite these affirmations (use/add your own that is relevant to the reality you want to create once you make it)
I AM RICH
I AM WEALTHY
I AM A MILLIONAIRE
LINK HAS GIVEN ME INFINITE ABUNDANCE
It's important to do this when you wake up and before you go to bed, but do it as often as possible. Also hold the image and idea of us making it and LINK being worth $1,000 or more in your mind as you fall to sleep.

WHEN WE DO THIS COLLECTIVELY MY LINK BROTHERS, THE UNIVERSE WILL SEE TO IT THAT CERTAIN EVENTS, PEOPLE AND CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ALIGN AND BE ATTRACTED TO US - THAT WILL ALLOW OUR DESIRE TO MANIFEST INTO REALITY!

I hate the when people say it's not an erc 20. Yeah, it's a different spec, but we all know they just mean it's an ethereum coin. And generally those aren't the most valuable projects. Also just cause it's not erc 20 doesn't mean it's special. Look at 0xbtc, it's not erc 20 and it's still a pile of shit. We are unironically early adopters. The current TOP 10 projects contribute almost nothing to the good of society / humanity. With the exception of Bitcoin and Ethereum. The only reason Ethereum is an exception, is because it's the most widely adopted smart contract platform.
If you're looking for a quick buck, feel free to speculate on shitcoins. If you're investing because you think blockchain has the potential to change the world, then LINK is one of the safest investments you can make. It actually makes Ethereum (and other smart contract platforms) useful.

Ethereum has a huge advantage in the sense of being a first mover. It's possible they'll be replaced in the future. However, they have such a huge headstart, as long as they keep improving the platform I doubt it'll go anywhere, anytime soon.
When it comes to built-in oracles, I'm not sure why that would matter. Chainlink is middleware that can be used on any blockchain, all you have to do is write an adapter for it. Once again, it has a first mover's advantage, and if companies like SWIFT, Microsoft, IBM etc. start using it, I doubt they'll go through the hassle of switching to another provider, unless they somehow save substantial amount of money.

>We Have No Features: as a corollary to generalization, we often refuse to build in even very common high-level use cases as intrinsic parts of the protocol, with the understanding that if people really want to do it they can always create a sub-protocol (eg. ether-backed subcurrency, bitcoin/litecoin/dogecoin sidechain, etc) inside of a contract.

Ok so you think you can have your linked stake in a contract that last multiple years and you can just pull it out on whim?

Once you put it on a node, it's there forevwer. But that's actuall a good thing because 1. YOu aren more link from staking and 2. those staked link are taken out of circulating supply.

The combined effect is that the LINK you earn from staking will be owrth much, much more because of staking is effectively burning your LINKs and earning more expensive ones (WE HOPE). Definitely a long term hold in that sense.
