What the fuck is wrong with eth, ripple, ltc and bch. WHy the fuck are they being left this much behind.

bch and ltc are pretty much shitcoins that bring nothing new to the table, they will die off slow and steady.

right now stellar is pretty much all that ripple ever wanted to be. If they can secure some partnerships they might see some gains again. But now people jump on the stellar hypetrain

You don't have the vision Anon. Blockchain is not finance 3.0, it's social 3.0. It's going to everywhere. In their spare times, your autonomous car will decide how to utilize itself the best, your drones will be used as delivery devices, your computer will be used as cloud computer... There are so many use cases, it is beyond imagination. Governments will keep identity in blockchain. Votes will be with blockchain. Parked wrong? Smart contract, automatic fine... blockchain.

For these you need protocol, decentralization and letting the market (people, IoT devices, computers, AI) decide which protocol, platform, utility they should use to maximize one thing and one thing only: YOUR UTILITY!

In early 90s, 99% of the people wouldn't envision what www is going to become. In 60s 99% of the people never thought there would be PCs at all. Why? Because they lacked the vision. Keep your game up Anon

Remember when it comes to technology people overestimate it in the beginning (99.9% of the market) and always underestimate it long term. Platforms like Eth and neo may have a place but it is way overhyped and overpriced right now. Like all commodities like oil, the price has to meet demand. Remember when everyone bought those H3s and next year oil went over $4 a gallon and no one drove them anymore. The price to use these platforms has to meet supply and demand and we know if the price to run on these platforms gets too high people won't use them like they do when any commodity goes up beyond demand. In the future, a platform blockchain will exist running on god knows what that keeps the price/demand equilibrium in check. I am a maximalist but I can see something like this existing. You really think Eth is going to go to the moon and continue rising forever... Like they thought with oil in the 70's. This is why I like bitcoin because it has so much asymmetrical upside it is trying to be money and a store of value as a deflationary asset. If it this right now or will end up achieving this is totally up to debate.

Some of them, it can. Most of them it can't. I'm not sure if you check what's going on in the market.

Augur, worlds first decentralized predictive market has been launched on Ethereum blockchain. Futures, Derivatives, bets on any event... You can all do this with Augur. It's distrupting the derivatives market: you know the market which is 100x larger than the total amount of money and precious metal that exists in this world

Monero: The only fungible, censorship resistant currency out there. That means governments can't freeze your account because they think you did something wrong in their eyes. It is the only true store of value because noone in the planet can know how much you have except you!

RLC, BAT, AMB, NEX... I don't want to get into their details but they are truly offering that is incredibly disruptive to existing industries.

And no, BTC can't do these things. What it does, is to offer store of value, global reserve and with LN censorship and mediation for transactions. BTC is Banking. A banker can't offer decentralized computing.
