But we're not talking about technological advancements here; we're talking about the PRICE of said technology. Crypto is guaranteed to fail as currency since price will never be stable. Best case scenario, it will live on as an unregulated store of value similar to Swiss Bank Accounts. Worst case, it will either be regulated into oblivion, or will turn out to be a fad and fade away for the next big thing.

But for the moment, it's great. The best get rich quick scheme in years. It just may not last long term, and even if it does, it definitely won't be as a medium of exchange.
