This thinking its wrong, a whale would not have approached REQ buying bit by bit, its more profitable to market buy this huge stack at once, because REQ had HUGE walls, for very low prices, meaning he could scoop all that up instantly, without leaving time for bots to readjust and take the walls down.
If he started buying slowly, increasing the price, the walls would have readjusted accordingly, he would not have been able to buy 600k below 10 cents.

It's like me moving a ball up into the air slowly or quickly, the potential energy in that ball will still be the same in the end.
