I expect it to go up at least 50x this year, it's an amazing project in late stage of development, meaning the product itself is coming. Even Universities have adopted it as a currency and some are supporting it.

Just read their whitepaper, after all its your money. Its worth doing it.

"Internet of People is creating the new, decentralized internet based on the Mercury protocol, a node-based environment for building truly decentralized apps." - from their website, basically central servers are shit for many reasons, censorship, privacy, not efficient etc. They offer alternative for both businesses and people in form of those nodes. They try to focus people more (facebook alternative). I personally like business side from it more (would benefit uber and other startups to run their service cheaper and without being censored).

Also their nodes should be much much cheaper, so another reason to use them.
