LINK is shit.
I've been in crypto since 2011... listen to me, sell all shitcoins including link, and put it in BTC.

If you really want to go altcoin, go Monero as the second safest after BTC. And if you want more adventure, try staking Decred.

Other than these 3, all I see are scams, including ETH. Name 1 dApp that people actually use?

Yes. Crypto in general will NEVER be used for anything in the real world unless the gap between real world data and blockchain is filled. Chainlink does just that.
IF Chainlink releases fully and works as intended in the whitepaper LINK becomes the first crypto on the whole market with an actual, legit real world use.

>> No.10305472

None of those are legit use cases that will bring up the price. Letting drug dealers take money anonymously isn't a "legit real world use case". XRP doesn't do anything by itself, it's the Ripple technology that does it, a completely separate thing. XLM is a total joke. IOTA is inherently flawed together with tangle and will never work. Free transactions can never exist. Miners and fees are a requirement for a safe, stable network. And none of them will even develop up to that point. You probably didn't even know none of these are being used for anything today until I posted this, didn't you?

Earlier this evening I did some breadcrumb trailing and ended up on the page of Daniel Frassanito the Senior Manager of Delivery and planning at Commonwealth bank.

He had liked the Christopher Borders article on Evan Cheng and his most recent activity on LinkedIn all involved ChainLink in some way.

I posted his name at the death of the Christopher borders link thread.

I just checked back now and he has deleted all his recent ChainLink activity and unlocked the Cheng article.

He was informed in some way about his name being linked to CL and erased any relating info.

I swear this is all true.

I messaged him because i saw your reply on the other thread and got interested. I'm just a LINK holder, nothing special.

He covered up anything relating to LINK on his profile. Why didn't he just make his activity non-public? I can think of a few reasons

1. he doesn't know how to use Linkedin and did the first thing that came to mind (unliking those posts) so he doesn't get messages from random NEETs
2. he want's to keep his activity as a signalling tool for his career, and deleted those posts because of messages from NEETs
3. he is involved with chainlink and doesn't want to get rekt + one of the above 2

Yeah, I look at this, and I work as a software engineer at a FANG company, and I don't know wtf.

When I try using the CBOR playground linked by Thomas Hodges (https://medium.com/chainlink/viewing-chainlink-transactions-on-the-ropsten-testnet-d59d7173e510)), I get stuff like this:

00 # unsigned(0)

##### 31 unused bytes after the end of the data item:

00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 0D E0 B6 B3 A7 64 00 00

Am I pasting the stuff into it wrong?

if you've been in crypto since 2011 and aren't worth at least $10,000,000+ right now you're literally retarded, and if you claim you are worth millions you wouldn't be spending time FUDing shitcoins on biz so then you're a liar too.

Just made some pretty dank OC for my "Do Not Open Until Singularity" folder. Does anyone have a transparent version of the rebranded logo saved? I want to use it for another meme while I am still feeling the divine grace of Sergey. We're all gonna make it.

Even though all the other skills currently link to chain link, Git (1) the one that was specifically mentioned was taken down. Screenshotting the other ones, they all link to chainlink too. Check it out.

With mainstream smart contracts, you can largely cut out middlemen like commercial courts and attorneys simply because there will be a lot less room for dispute and there is no need to have anything certified by a trusted party like a notary, so they're cut out too.

In fact, mainstream smart contracts are in effect peer-to-peer contracts, so they can cut out banks entirely.
Imagine you want a mortgage; you create a smart contract where various parties can pool money with the promise of repayment with interest, with the necessary guarantees built in should you default.
And it's all done automatically and transparently, without a bank.
Same with insurance.

Fudders suck. End of story. If you haven't accumulated by now or you have been greedy enough to sell now hoping for a drop to buy back in with mainnet this close you deserve to lose money. Bullrun has started, fomo up now.
