Bought this phone (One Plus 5T) cause I was tired of using iphones and wanted an android.

Its made and designed by a chinese company.

Tfw my mom laughed at me and said I was going to get scammed for buying a Chinese phone and now I'm gettings ADS ON MY FUCKING PHONE.
When I'm done making a call or close a tab I sometimes just get literal ads... I have a feeling this is just the beginning.

I've had the OnePlus 5T for months. By far the best phone I've ever used.

I got the OPO from the official web 4 years ago. It came without the warranty seal inside the phone.
Also the cam is full of dust due to bad isolation.
A lot of people also have this problem but this fucking scammers are still allowed to sell this shit.

I owned a Huawei Nexus 6p but always had a sneaking suspicion, despite being a Google phone running Android, that there would possibly be some kind of telemetry going right back the Chinese govt. Not that I have anything to hide though.

We're, foreals. I'll never buy an Android phone by an American company (which is obviously made in China) for triple what I can get from a Chinese company. There's a lot or really nice and cheap phones from Chinese business, one plus, honor, huawai, xiamoi...makes no sense to spend more than 300 bucks for a flagship level device, unlocked with all bands now a days.
