I don't know about you boys but at this point in the market holding will just fuck your numbers even more. I made so much money in the last months just by watching what the whales bought on IDEX.

I actually have put 5k in fiat aside entirely to trade in this market. I'm using the same strategy that has made me money in this market but following some bullet points to prevent what happened after which was fucking myself out of any and all profits I made.

>fuck diversifying

>study those order books, some whales just don't give a fuck and will drop double digit ETH orders on lower volume exchanges like IDEX

>if that chart is going in a straight line sideways but volume is flying in, make that position and come up with an exact number to sell at.

>2x, 4x, etc. Sell your stack in chunks to assure you guarantee profits on the way up in case you go down before hitting your last targets

I'm definitely an unorthodox senpai considering I've fucked up impressively hard in my past but hey, live and learn.

let me give you an example of what I did over the last 4ish months. Funny enough, if I had faith in myself and what trading style worked for me instead of listening to others I would have FAR more capital atm.

HOT - bought at 60, set a sell order at 120 for a simple 2x

CNN - bought at 200, sold at 400 for another 2x

SNTR - bought at 30 thinking I was right about to take off in the rocket (read: FOMO'd)
-bought even more at 15
-bought even more at 10
-sold at 30 and 60 (only time I ever sold at the top and I squandered those profits entirely on PAI

Why I chose these were pretty simple. On IDEX, volume was insane with multiple orders routinely coming in all either the same amount or with routine frequency.

What that means is that somebody with a whole lotta money feels pretty damn sure that things are going to go up. And as someone aspiring to make a lot of money, copying these trades is so bloody easy.

The only difficulty is deciding when to take profits, or more so, when the whales will want to take profits.

And I cannot reiterate this enough:
DO NOT LISTEN TO A SINGLE FUCKING THING ANY OF THESE CUNTS TELL YOU

I started in April of 2017 as a total retard emotionally trading his way to no profits and stagnant charts because I didn't do my own research and allowed others to make my purchases for me through fear and FOMO.

I could be fucking extraterrestrial MILFs on the moon right now.

Even with all this, the market is in a difficult situation. The only times I lost money using this method is when BTC was at an uncertain point in its chart movement and nothing fucks your altcoins faster than uncertainty than big daddy BTC shitting his pants.

Let me add that limiting how much you buy at one time is a probably the best way to limit your risk. While that FOMO will make you want to market buy with your whole stack as much as I do, forcing yourself only to drop 10% of your stack at a time with hours or days in between allows you to not accidentally buy way too much way too fast way too high.

Fuck, I am down over 10k with AUC because I bought at .88$ with my full stack.

Oh, and to give you an idea of what numbers I look for, when whales are droppind 10+ ETH repeatedly into something you should know a shitstorm is a brewin

I'd give this dude a gander before I even try to embark any wisdom. He's got a free book/pdf thing that goes into very thorough detail about basic chart movement and signs.

The big dilemma right now is that speculative power holds nothing anymore. Logically thinking, will this market over-saturated in utility tokens and shitcoins that are only being used to try and accumulate more fiat or BTC have another run based purely on hype before a majority of them whither into bloody nothing.

Oh, and keep up with your hobbies. If crypto becomes your world, even if you make shitloads, will drain your soul like a Japanese salaryman.

I have traded emotionally with the hope of fleeting moon missions and low-effort lambos during the bull run in december, moving my stable investments into p&d and pajeet scams far too often, far too late. It really put me out of my money and away from the crypto game for a while, but i want to be involved in this field not just for money but to be on the cutting edge. I have gotten involved in my local crypto meetup and want to be investing in the right speculation because some of this shit is gonna stick, even if the whole thing is just a hypetrain. These retards have been saying it's too late since I started over a year ago. While the potential for multiple 100x moon missions might be less frequent or currently not possible, I won't say it's not a pipe dream considering a movement from the very bottom to a new bull run top would realize that potential.

If this is a crash that will flat line for months to a few years, that would be everybody's opportunity to make shitloads again.

After the dotcom crash the companies that rose from the ashes eventually grew. It was not an absolute cataclysm.

>come on, you really think cryptocurrency and any blockchain related investing is going to literal $0 soon?

Yes. Yes I do.

The downside risk exposure is as high as its ever been.

The only thing keeping this floating is investor confidence.

The mechanics of the market is the other thing. ICOs have a lot of liquidity they are constantly dumping to convert to profits on a balance sheet.

Arbitrage bots and algos doing the vast majority of the trading. Most of the "wealth" is hoarded in proportionally small numbers of accounts so a modest sell off in some corner of the market is detected by tens of thousands of bots which start a cascading series of sell-offs. Investor panic leads to more sell offs leading to more volatility. The real dumpening will occur when there are no more retail investors. It will be whales vs. whales trying not to lose everything and liquidating what they can.

This is where prices fall below $1k, even to double digits. I'm talking worthless, toxic assets.

This has all happened before in the tech sector
