>Nick Szabo predicted the Ethereum blockchain in 1997
>it allows for reputation systems (e.g. ChainLink nodes) and self-enforcing secured credit
>smart contracts can save billions in frictional fees typical with business and financial agreements per year
>smart contracts are immutable
>LINK solves the oracle problem

So we’re all gonna make it?

First we need the following things:
>a programmable blockchain that can actually handle DAPPs (maybe Ethereum after sharding, galaxies)
>to overcome the hurdles involved in adoption
>the ChainLink project to be completed

>In the future cryptocurrency won't be viewed as a security or asset but as a means of payment for utilizing a decentralized system by incentivizing its maintainers.
>Any cryptocurrencies that serve as nothing but a ledger only derive value from speculation.
>Cryptocurrency's that have their blockchains serve as Swiss army-knife protocols will all be rendered redundant by smart contracts whose executions will be paid in LINK and something like ETH or EOS.
>Most people who actually use these smart contracts won't even know what they're interacting with or ever directly touch the cryptocurrency involved.

DAPPs will one day be used to prevent election fraud, for logistics and supply chains, powering entire exchanges.
Pretty much any institution that relies on an economic mechanism that can be replaced algorithms can be implemented using LINK and a programmable blockchain.

DAPPs also provide the potential for self-regulating capitalism to actually succeed by minimizing room for corruption and error by replacing humans with smart contracts.

kys newfag. only monero and bitcoin matter. everything else is pure trash and some junk like hyperledger will make you faggots obsolete

and this is exactly why it has zero chance for adoption. corruption is human nature.

If implimented correctly it will save more money than can be gained by being corrupt.

Centralized blockchains are self-defeating in purpose.
