didnt buy any till 2013 December.
dismissed it as just internet toy money
margin traded xmr and eth before they blew up
got myself into a shit position in eth and i just gave up

I learned about it pre-MTGOX when I could mine full blocks with a laptop or buy them for less than a penny. Thought censorship resistant p2p programmable money sounded interesting, but the secret service would never allow the creation of a new currency.

By the time I heard it resurface, I thought I was already too late, because it was just a bubble on a shady network that wouldn't last much longer.

Heard about ETH pre-ICO. Sounded interesting, but crypto looked like a dying fad as I had expected.

Then I hear ETH is a scam and look at the price, sign up for coinbase and start buying as much as I can afford.
