It's already happening unironically, you just can't measure it yet

>> No.10008892

Ah now that would cause real capitulation if network shutting down fud spread

>> No.10009311

if it's not profitable to mine then miners shut down. if they shut down there's now blockchain. no blockchain no bitcoin

>> No.10009334

Bears are getting too far, salting down the market is fucking retarded.

>> No.10009398

Miners will continue to mine. They just won't sell in this market.

They don't shutdown. Look, don't listen to the dickhead poserbears. They aren't even bears in the market sense cause they don't trade. They are late teens and 20yo who get off in thinking they are upsetting you. It's gay and boring. An 800m mining facility is just now being setup in NE NY.. do you think they might have done a touch more market research that your average biz bear? Bitcoin isn't going anywhere... Just start patrolling bear threads with FUCK OFF over and over.

If bch had 20% of bitcoin's mining power, they would mine at a loss.
Or are you saying that price follows hashrate?

we have to remember that at the start of 2017 1 BTC was worth 1000 USD

not only has the price been in a bubble but the hashrate as well:
https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-hashrate.html

from 2.4 Ehashes to 40 at one point. the amount of miners has been heavily inflated as well

>sidenote: this time last year BCH was worth 0
>this might be the reset that crowns the new king
