Pretty much the same reason to avoid fiat. Strong evidence that they don't actually have any silver, if they ever get backed into a corner they are able to change their rules so they can settle in cash or just screw you over completely. PSLV is more reputable but you should still buy physical for you to personally see and feel, you won't regret it.

>> No.29977850

>>29977334
It's a prime vehicle the banks use to counterfeit silver and it is questionable if they actually own the silver they claim. It is speculated that the FED won't allow an audit of the gold holdings in Ft Knox because the gold may be used as collateral multiple times over, so one bar of gold may be backing dozens if not hundreds of contracts which is one means of suppressing the price. SLV plays a similar roll in that is an artificial sink to absorb investor demand in silver without actually impacting the supplies.
Sprott actually owns the metal and stands to make a fortune if the price increases, whereas the banks stand the crash the economy if the price rises so their illicit dealings in fake silver do not bode well for silver investors, because you are essentially placing your trust in conmen who are sweating literal blood over the price increase because of systemic issues the financial system has created.

Canadian 1/4oz Gold Maple Diameter: 20.00 mm
US 1/4oz Gold Eagle Diameter: 22.00 mm

The data above shows that the Canadian 1/4 oz Gold Maple is indeed closer to a US dime in diameter when compared to a US Quarter. The data also shows that a US 1/4oz Gold Eagle is closer in diameter to a US quarter when compared to a US dime. Therefore, we can only conclude that a 1/4 oz coin will be between the diameters of the standard US dime and quarter. Additionally, you are a faggot.

Right now the best bang for the buck is Aurcana, low SP, will soon be producing 1/4 of what first majestic produces, even at current prices of silver the Aurcana share price hitting 4-5$ is very reasonable, if not a low estimate. Considering where they were just a month or so ago they are a steal of a deal for cheapies.

The fact that no one shills or hypes Aurcana also makes it a very attractive prospect given that their fundamentals are very strong.

honestly given that the Aurcana stock 10X this year I cant really blame people for selling at a high and taking profits.

Thing is that not liking other people taking profits does not in any way change the fact that you have a mine that will soon be producing 1/4 of what first majestic produces.

Not liking the management taking profit will not hold back the share price one bit once OZ's start rolling out the mines at the #'s anticipated.

Not taking advantage of a stock at this fire price just seems silly to me, I sold my BHS and VGLD to take profit, and its all into exciting my Aurcana position. All the facts point to Aun having a much higher share price then right now, there simply has not been any hype around them other then myself and a few other anons telling people the facts this past 8 months or so, and I have done the same "shilling" with BHS,VGLD, AG, ect (and I even trashed BHS at 17cents pet share, and said buy at 9CPR) so take that for what it is worth and do your own DD

If you do this you'll be paying out the ass in shipping and fees every time, particularly with silver where your price pretty much doubles.
Probably best to buy 2-3 times a year for the equivalent amount. For more regular, smaller purchases maybe a physical silver ETF is more reasonable. Or ebay.

How come silver and anything silver related just goes down all the time no matter what happens on macro or whatever? In real inflation adjusted terms of course.

Even retards who invested in the worst companies in the world are doign better than silver boomer sitting on a real inflation adjusted loss of 98%+ since the 80s. And the loss relative to everyone else is just going to keep getting worse because of a little thing called Opportunity Cost.

People avoid ebay here for the most part.
Recently people are suggesting moving to the platform to buy, but its kind of a shock effect I think.
We also have a lot of new users here from $GME.
We have until the end of the year before we see astronomical prices.
That said the entire market will pump gold first & silver following.

I want to buy more silver, but the gold rush is about to begin too.

A $1200 "stimulus" check won't even buy am ounce of gold. Big players are ok with spending like $300K on gold alone. Some people are emptying their bank accounts they've worked for the last 5 years for gold alone.

So what am i saying?
6 months worth of finances in check/on hand?
Good - keep it that way.
Have 6 months worth of supplies on hand?
Good - keep it that way.
Do you have an extra $3K -$4K sitting around? Leisure money?
Than go in with gold & silver while you can.

From Bong Land- Atkinsons Bullion blog: https://atkinsonsbullion.com/news/march-2021/investors-make-good-use-of-gold-price-drop

The price of gold has dropped by around 10% since the start of the year.
After kicking off 2021 at around £1,391, the precious metal has seen a steady decline, and hit a low of £1,247 on Friday 26th February.
So, the question must be asked: has gold lost some of its shine?
One recent large trigger for gold has been the rising 10-year Treasury yields in the USA, as well as a stronger US dollar.
As traders focused on a recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic and higher treasury yields, gold became less competitive.
The European markets have been more optimistic due to cases of coronavirus dropping and a quicker than expected vaccine deployment, as well as healthy manufacturing data, which has also impacted gold negatively.
Recent heavy demand for silver has also influenced the price.

Where is gold heading?
Of course, it’s impossible to accurately predict where the price of gold may be heading next.
However, lockdowns have heavily impacted on the UK economy, and as Boris’ roadmap to recovery comes into play and the country slowly begins to open its doors again, we can only sit and watch to see where this may take us.
Many businesses have suffered deep losses, and we may yet see an economic contraction deeper than we have ever experienced before, which of course will have a knock-on effect on gold prices.
It’s always a good idea not to be too short-sighted, and to look at things in the long term.

As we have noted before, there is evidence of a long-term uptrend in gold. The last ten years has seen the annual price of the precious metal pretty much double.
Gold may be merely catching its breath. Prices have already shown signs of steadying as of early Monday morning (March 1st, 2021) as the dollar dropped from a one-week high, increasing gold’s appeal.

Buy the dip!
A dip in the market price is always a buying opportunity.
The gold market has been busier than ever over the last year, and this weekend was no exception as many smart investors took advantage of the lower price to ‘buy the dip’.
Although we now see signs of gold prices steadying, the price is still sitting relatively low compared to those 2020 heights. Could now be a good time to buy?

If we look to the long term - with so much happening in the world, and such future financial uncertainty around the globe, gold may well be on the road to recovery as investors again and again look to the store of value that has been proven for centuries: our old friend, gold.

Alright. From what info I could find, I have to say this is definitely a company to follow closely. They have a large landholding in an extremely prospective area with multiple high quality projects close by. And despite the company just listed, the company's assets have seen three decades of exploration and prospecting. The company's share structure is good and they have over C$6M working capital. Two sets of geologist/prospector brothers in the management & advisors, which I find cute but potentially harmful, though I'm sure there is no problem, they probably know their claims like the back of their hands. QH is also an advisor so that's a vote of confidence.
The Einarson & Rogue assets are high potential and advanced exploration assets that still remain underexplored and barely drilled.

I didnt have a coin shop close by as a kid, but there were 3 pawn shops. 1 was all stolen landscape equip tools and tv, nothing of value worth there cept the occasional nintendo game.
1 was 18+ because they had a VHS section with porn tapes
The other was pretty chill, and the manager would always get me the stuff they were sending off to melt because they couldnt sell it.

I got this mexican coin in a broken bezel for 8$.

>For gold, should I buy 28x 1 gram bars or 10x 1/10 oz bars?

It depends what you want to do with the gold.
If it's purely for long term storage of wealth then get one 1oz coin/minibar as cheaply as you can source.
If it's for future SHTF payments then small amounts of gold will be useful. 1 gram bars will be sensible especially if when gold increases in value.
However, buying small amounts of gold will cost you a bigger premium.
I've just bought ten 1/10oz Britannias which cost approx £8 per coin more than buying one 1 oz coin.

this seems like a stretch, for a few reasons...

one, i haven't really seen anything to suggest crypto has lower transaction fees for small everyday purchases. if using bitcoin results in significantly higher expense when buying coffee or a tank of gas, that's a non-starter.

two, a big reason credit cards are so heavily used is because the companies are actually extending credit. we can debate whether people should be buying things on credit (i've used cc's for 20 years and have never paid a penny in interest), but the reality is that's a big reason why they're used by many. crypto seems to have no mechanism for this in a decentralized capacity.

three, because credit card companies are in the business of extending credit, they can also remove end user liability for fraud. i'm not really concerned about using a credit card to buy from a store i haven't used before, because i know that if anything happens, i can dispute/reverse the card, or any subsequent fraud. yes, it would be a hassle, but i'm very unlikely to lose anything. if i pay for something with bitcoin, i guess i just cross my fingers and hope for the best, because there's no recourse.

Third generation block chain technologies like hedera hashgraph have really low transaction fees. The point of mastercard and visa is to rent take a percentage of every transaction, stores are forced to sue them because there is no other option, they have a dualopoly.

It's 100% gaslighting. If they told you the truth "prices are rising because of money printing, and we will continue to print more money" that would trigger psychological hyperinflation. By preparing you in advance they hope it only stays at "high."

I wish what you said was true, I would have put much more into BHS if it was so,
