Unironically, how do people get shaken out in corrections like the one we just saw? 25% is nothing. I guess maybe it's just panic sellers who bought high selling low, but there can't be THAT many of them... R-right...?

No kidding, there's some psychological process whereby people refuse to buy things that are too cheap in their estimation. They'll wait until it's ridiculously overpriced before they "feel safe" buying in. I don't know what this process is but I find it fascinating since I went through that too with BTC, except I waited until after the 2018 crash and then just started DCAing and never plan to sell anyway.
