Why didn't the "chainlink" team just promote some of the dullest tokens in the history of cryptocurrency? Seriously, each github update following the McDonalds wizard and his pals from the Nail Salon as they implement assorted Jason Parsers has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the faux Banker imagery, the token’ only consistency has been its lack of milestones achieved and ineffective use of marketing tools, all to make magic unmagical, to make development seem inert.

Perhaps the die was cast when Sergey vetoed the idea of Swift directing the chainlink roadmap; he made sure the token would never be mistaken for a serious banking revolution that meant anything to anybody? just ridiculously profitable ico-shilling for his own benefit. The Chainlink token might be anti-banking (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-success token in its refusal of communication, development and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.

"No!" The white paper's writing is dreadful; the ico was terrible. On every new presentation, I noticed that every time Sergey appeared on stage, he was wearing the same tshirt.

I began bookmarking on my web browser every time the tshirt was repeated. I stopped only after I had bookmarked several dozen times. I was incredulous. Sergey's mind is so governed by cliches and dead projects that he has no other style of leading. Later I read a lavish, loving review of Chainlink by the same Vitalik Buterin. He wrote something to the effect of, "Endorse" is such a strong word. Oracles are awesome. Much harder to argue oracles are worth $32m. If these kids are buying LINK at 11 or 12k sats, then when they get older they will go on to buy ETH." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you buy chainlink you are, in fact, trained to buy Ethereum.

oh look another chainlink thread..

My father works for oracle and is quite close to Sergey. He told me that Sergey showed up at the office six days ago to announce that he ate his thousandth Big Mac. In honor of such a special moment, Sergey handed out free t-shirts he found at a local Salvation Army. Before he left, he took my father aside and asked “you didn’t actually buy in, did you?”
