Guys we’re gonna we’re gonna need to hold this into 2019 at least. Not sure why I still come back here. LINK is definitely our ticket, but anyone who’s not a true believer will be shaken out slowly so the big guys can get their stake in the future.

Please frens, give me confidence to not sell my linkies. I am in dire need of cash and watching the price go down more and more has made my hands weaker than ever. I am all in and if I sell now there is no coming back. Stressed out 24/7 because of this shit.

Bitcoin was Nick Szabo's plan to implement chainlink. He couldn't do it without a network as powerful and widespread as bitcion's is. This plan has been more than 20 years in the making, and the fact that Szabo sold the domain to sergey tells you he has confidence in the young autist. Link will be the backend solution for every smartcontract platform and most business will be done on smartcontracts by 2023;

Selling any amount of Link ever is a retarded proposition. Buy more LInk unless your average buy in is lower than this.

Just curious, why do people put so much confidence in Sergey?

He has a pretty unsuccessful track record of starting companies that never come to fruition/accomplish anything. Why is ChainLink different? (I’m not trying to fud, I’m just curious to hear peoples’ perspectives.)

My view is the complete opposite on this, his other projects seem to have lasted until they stopped having a reason to last. But I don't like the shutting up. At some point giving bagholders some updates and some dates is part of his job and he's dropping the ball there. Even if it's to say you have nothing new worth updating and no new dates.

Pay attention goys. Sergey got SEC'd once already with his SAE. They wanted to tokenize assets on the NXT chain. SEC came and shut it down. Hence he knows the real power and subhuman ethics the SEC operates by.

All these icos that tokenize things are going to get shut down like SEA did in 2016.

Sergey knows this. Sergey doesn't give one bit of "easing investors" - since a roadmap is also considered easing investor sentiment he won't say anything related to the project. In a few months when all icos get shut down LINK(and few others like zrx) are going to stand and become the new Google and Amazon.

I'm concerned about a few things, which I KNOW are FUD because that is the goddam definition: I have Fear Uncertainty and Doubt that this will scale, that "the market will create itself" or that it's really that recolutionary. Just look at any business forum or website and blockchain/smartcontracts etc is not there. I know it's named in official papers here and there, but this ISN'T like the internet, where Pat O'Brien was literally shilling for AOL before during and after the superbowl. This is a very small, very niche pilot project testground and I am exceedingly doubtful that it will blossom into somekind of new business revolution.

It is if Linkies are to play some sort of pivotal role in the next iteration of chainlink. It is ostensibly his job if he needs link holders as much as we seem to think he does.

>>9926579
FUD is fine. I think there's people that want to use blockchain/smartcontracts but we're still trying to figure out how or why. It is like the internet in the sense that if it goes where we seem to want it to go it may need some kind of layered structure for communication but fuck me if I know what the final thing will look like. If we're going to be making others accept irreversible deals, people need to believe whatever outcome they get will be correct and that's easier said than done. Big fishes outsorcing part of their workload to small start ups to do very small things on test for a while sounds reasonable to me, but I don't know at what point they could change to something medium. Once we can go a year without smart contracts getting hacked or without having to shut down transactions then maybe we'll start going somewhere that matters. But then it still needs to make business sense, a highly secure transaction can't cost more than the transaction. I don't know man, don't lose more than you're ready to lose.

Are these bots or retards that are selling link at these low prices? At what point will people stop selling this low? Eventually the accumulators will accumulate and hold what they got cheap from the weakhands and bots, right?

It's called cutting your losses. Seeing how the buy order gets thinner and thinner every day, that's actually a sound tactic.
