But seriously, how do I short millenials?

>> No.9914224

even millenials working at McDonalds and Walmart will be millionaires someday, as the dollar continues to inflate away to nothing. They'll be making $400k at their walmart job but spending $1k on a loaf of bread.

sort of this... although I think what will really happen is the greedy corporations will try to keep wages so low that the entire economy crashes really hard and more than half the population becomes extremely poor, and 5-10% are rich, and basically no middle class left.

>> No.9914709

>>9914199
Does anyone else find this scary? To have the self awareness to realize that you're in that 53%. Likely just another average person. You think that NO, you are definitely different. All of the other people are delusional if they think they'll be millionaires. But they think the exact same thing about you. Only 1% of them will ever become millionaires (in terms of today's dollars). And that 1% is likely hard at work right now while you're rotting away on 4chan posting about how everyone else is delusional in thinking that they'll be successful. No, you're definitely different due to being an "early investor" in crypto. That's what the hundreds of thousands of Redditor's on different crypto related subreddits think as well. But no, you have good work ethic. But there are people actually working right now. But no, you're really smart. But there are smarter people working right now.

>> No.9914714

everyone in the world thinks they will be millionaires some day, what is this bait article?

>> No.9914739

>>9914709
So at the end of the day you're just another average person. A mediocre person. You'll be 60 and wonder what happened. How you had so much potential and how you always felt so close to making it big, but you just never got there. Then you'll realize that maybe your delusions of grandeur were just that, delusions. And you'll die another mediocre person.

>> No.9914830

>>9914739
And then you'll likely accept it. Maybe you just had bad luck. Money isn't that important anyway. You were at least making 6 figures for many years. Surely life couldn't improve that much. But you'll always wonder what if.
What if I actually worked hard...
What if I didn't spend so much time action faking...
What if I followed my gut feeling...
What if I bought that Lambo...
What if I bought that mansion...
What if I bought that yacht...
What if I banged that model...
And then you'll be 90 years old. Sharted pants. Thinking to when you were a young man. Browsing 4chan. So sure that you were a future millionaire. Future hundred millionaire actually. Wishing that you could reach through your memories and slap your snot nosed self while he was laying on his bed. Phone in one hand browsing 4chan. Dick in the other fapping. And how delusional he was to think that he was future millionaire material.

In earnest, I don't see why about half of the young people of today couldn't foreseeably become millionaires
Whether it's by retirement age or simply at some point over their lives, a middle class or above person ought to be able to make a million in their lifetime, given the first world countries remain so

>> No.9915386

Let's see.

My net worth will be $115k or so by the end of this year. I'm 26.

Not factoring in for inflation, for the next 24 years I could make savings of $144,000.

My wife has an apartment worth $100,000 which we'd sell later on.

115+144+100 = 359k minimum by the time I'm 50. If I'm really decent, then 400k.

I don't see myself ever becoming a millionaire (and that's fine):

1. Property worth 340k or so will be paid off.
2. I don't need a car.
3. Maintenance, utilities, groceries, transportation and entertainment will be the only major bills from age 50 to whenever I rot away and die. And that's fine.

Taxes are whats killing the middle class. The left love taxing the middle class into the ground to pay for gibs and spending programs. Youre right though - The middle class will eventually disappear and there'll be an underclass, and the elites.
