The EOS constitution: https://github.com/EOSIO/eos/blob/5068823fbc8a8f7d29733309c0496438c339f7dc/constitution.md

>-This Constitution is a multi-party contract entered into by the Members by virtue of their use of this blockchain.

> ...

> -# Article VI - Restitution -Each Member agrees that penalties for breach of contract may include, but are not limited to, fines, loss of account, and other restitution.

> ...

> -# Article XV - Termination of Agreement -A Member is automatically released from all revocable obligations under this Constitution 3 years after the last transaction signed by that Member is incorporated into the blockchain. After 3 years of inactivity an account may be put up for auction and the proceeds distributed to all Members according to the system contract provisions then in effect for such redistribution.

> ...

> -# Article XVIII - Acceptance -A contract is deemed accepted when a member signs a transaction which incorporates a TAPOS proof of a block whose implied state incorporates an ABI of said contract and said transaction is incorporated into the blockchain.

What the fuck is this shit? EOS can "fine me" and "close my account"? My tokens are to be put on auction after 3 years of inactivity? How is this a crypto currency? How is this 5th by marketcap?!

Oh you thought holding eos meant you owned eos? Lmao,.

a token with explicitly "no purpose whatsoever" shilled by a known pederast serial scammer is actually a blatant scam

holy shit dude are you kidding me

to test EOSs no illegal activity backdoor, the block producers should confiscate block one, danny larimer, and that faggot pedo brock's accounts.

wonder how all for EOS's "no illegal activity" "no lying" clauses they'd bee for then

Can't wait till that sweet sweet EOS hippy money starts flowing towards Holo. It's going to be glorious when the hippies realize holo was what they wanted all along... Not this hot trash EOS.

That solves lost coins to dead people. Spending a 1 coin within 3 years isn’t that hard bro. There will probably be a dapp that will do it for you if you elect to do so.

A thread filled with sad cope. I hope all of you fucking HODL BTC and ETH to zero.

I dont have to. You guys are the ones making up an alternate reality where this shit matters enough to make such a big deal out of it.

Like seriously if your shitcoin ETH was good for anything then why even worry about EOS. Go fucking talk about how ETH is good to people dumb enough to buy that shit.

>> No.9896363

>>9896351
>alternate reality
it's all there written down as the rules all the BPs have to pinkie promise to keep to. there's no alternate reality here.

>your shitcoin EOS
really that worried about ETH huh? you're the only one that's brought it up in this thread, must terrify you.

Yeah and the alternate reality cope is that it fucking matters and that its even worth using as FUD. Its fucking dumb. Nobody gives a fuck. Make 1 transaction every 3 years and done.

> really that worried about ETH huh?

I m here basically to make fun of you guys for being so worked up over this shit. Its sad but its kind of funny.

The entire thing is obviously stupid. It solves nothing and is getting blown out of proportion by desperate people who want to make it sound like they can just confiscate any wallet at any time. The moment any BPS attempt any kind of shit like this is the moment they get voted out instantly.

The voting system is active at all times. 126 second intervals and you can change your votes at any moment and you are expected to change your vote every 3 months anyway. BPs can get dropped hard and fast if they fuck up at all.

They should really have term limits imo
Both a minimum time and a maximum time

Right, enforcing a "constitution" on a blockchain and forcing users to do something is fucking retarded.

You sound like you're not shorting EOS

>> No.9896488

>>9896464
Your vote becomes weaker slowly over time the longer you vote for someone. But honestly the system is insane how efficient it is. Open up the greymass wallet and the voting system is literally part of the wallet.

A BP can be insta dumped in a matter of hours if one fucks up enough and gets enough bad PR.

yeah, you really are scared shitless of ETH, which is funny because you're the only person talking about ti. says a lot huh?

>>9896488
>efficient
EOS is fundamentally just as inefficient as almost every blockchain we have today, they just scaled up the requirements and in tun could only get 21 nodes to work.

there's literally nothing groundbreaking about EOS. maybe if they had managed to get that kind of performance on a decentralized network it would be something developers would be interested in, but right now they're literally taking the bcash approach.

>> No.9896508

>>9896488
Yeah seems kind of too efficient

One good fud article and your out as bp, and some may be bp forever. Plus it puts you into this perpetual campaign to maintain your votes. I just think it would go smoother with defined terms and elections

Its called projection bitch. You want to make it seem like I am afraid but I have zero fucking doubts ETH is fucked. EOS isnt the only coin that stomps eth. Even things ETH has created stomps ETH.

Your coin is going to get a lot cheaper this year.

Good point. It is literally that easy. I have never seen a voting system this brutal in my life. If I was a BP I would be scared fucking shitless.

The only ones with decision power are whales. Hoi polloi don't matter.
10 addresses hold 50%; 2570 addresses hold 90% of coins.
https://www.cryptoglobe.com/latest/2018/06/eos-centralization-top-1-6-of-holders-own-90-of-supply/
Yes exchanges blah blah. Every coin is held on exchanges but eos is most centralized. Every eos holder had a very big incentive to withdraw to register, so the centralization is real.

If you know its bullshit why did you bother to mention it anyway?
