A few months ago, some UHNWI contacts in the investment/VC had begun to get very excited about one of 4chan's favorite coins (I learned in hindsight).

They have more of a solid tech background than myself as my specialty has been on Wall Street and some of the more promising emerging markets for the duration of my career thus far. They were raving on and on about how there will be more smart contracts in existence than there ever would be websites on the globe. I told them respectively I have my reservations on their claim as there are well over a billion websites in the globe. They countered with strong conviction that this will occur in less than 5 years. They ardently believe some of the DARPA projects concentrated on artificial intelligence programming will soon make its way to be utilized to re-invent new payment models and value ecosystems. And the blochain in their eyes will be the cornerstone to cement this as the reality of our future.

It was explained to me in layman's terms that the blockchain networks which go to achieve sizable traction will be as wealthy as some of the most successful Fortune 500 Companies in a few years.

I was halfway awestruck and partially felt as if my time had been wasted. Here I am, eating dinner with two very successful men, and they are talking to me on the future of financial system and a hidden need for an oracle solution.

After a few bottles of wine, they started talking about the cypherpunk communities in late 80s/early 90's and the mythical 'God Protocol' and its implications for humanity. I was fascinated by the concept. But again, I remain skeptical.

They left a lasting impact on me that night. I ultimately hired a Data Scientist to scrap whatever data on the Web on Chainlink. He ended his analysis was saying Chainlink is the second most discussed topic on /biz/ behind Bitcoin (Ethereum is respectively 3rd).

I want to make money just as much as you guys. What's so special about LINK in your eyes?

Anon stop fucking around on 4chan and do your fucking homework.
You have school in the morning.

Don't fall for it. Chainlink is a scam. I am in the UHNWI sphere and folks are not investing in LINK. Check the top wallets:

https://etherscan.io/token/tokenholderchart/0x514910771af9ca656af840dff83e8264ecf986ca

88 of these are owned by Sergey and team according to a knowledgeable poster on here. UHNWI are skeptical of crypto in general, especially with the manipulation and volume swings. But if they ever invest it'll be in legit projects (BTC, ETH, XMR)

Chainlink is the biggest scamcoin in existence. No updates from the team ever, price just dumps and dumps and dumps, no one uses the shitty testnet they released, and mainnet wont even be out until 2021.
If you want a real oracle solution try actual good projects such as Augur and Mobius.

Just found dis place n' I be amazed at how tha fuck much support fo' Sergey Nazarov you muthafuckas is showing. Let me rap muthafuckas a story. I be thinkin you gonna appreciate dat shit.

Yo ass may not know dis yo, but Sergey is straight-up a pimpin' decent dribbla n' shit. I remember last year attendin a event all up in tha NBA Allstar break. I was part of his crew n' let me rap , we was up in Awe when his thugged-out lil' punk-ass bounced tha bizzle all up in his fuckin legs. Dat shiznit was incredible.

Whatz even crazier is what tha fuck happened next. Jebron Lames straight-up strutted up wit a funky-ass basketball, apparently gettin locked n loaded ta yell at JR Smizzle. Right back up in yo muthafuckin ass. Sergey looked at Jebron n' holla'd "Man thatz all you eva do is yell. Yell, yell, yell." Lames looked at his ass n' holla'd "Well if I had yo' talent Nazarov I wouldn't gotta yell all muthafuckin day."

Crazy.

they're literally just saying that what confido claimed they were trying to accomplish would be reliant on chainlink to work. you're either being disingenuous, a brainlet, or both.

Yeah Chainlink is such a scam. Their massive marketing campaign is full of empty promises and they're trying too hard to shill to normies - classic scam signs in crypto.
