Is the Ark ever going to set sell for real? I must have seen at least a hundred "The Ark is shipping out in x days" posts in the past 10 months. It really only ever had one voyage.. And while it was good, I always felt it could do much more.

Here's the deal with ARK. This also applies to newfags that don't know much about this project.
If tomorrow they'd release V2, VM, PushButton deployable blockchains, it would be by far the best platform in crypto AND the most decentralized.

Problem is, these things that would give ARK insane value and adoption are almost ready but they are not released yet and we don't know when they will be. This is reflected in the price.
ARK now - lisk fork and average platform
ARK in X months - top 5 or top 3 platforms in crypto.

We Arkies are gambling on the fact that they will deliver, and we believe that they will deliver cause they don't fuck around, they don't do meme marketing with announcements of announcements, don't give deadlines so they will be forced to launch buggy software, etc. They just work and don't talk.
Basically ARK is the anti-hype project in a speculative market that is driven mainly by hype. The only way ARK moons is if they deliver, since the hype factor with this project is 0.

If people by ARK in the hopes that they could flip it for profit in 3 weeks, they are doing it wrong. The only reason to buy ARK is if you think they will deliver and are willing to hold these bags. Deluded arkies that are long-term bagholders follow this project and the team closely and we have reason to believe that the will actually deliver. When that happens, the moon mission will happen extremely fast. The risk of selling our stake and rebuy when the moon starts is too high, cause most likely we will miss it.

TL/DR: Ark never moons because no hype. If you DYOR and you think they will deliver, buy and hodl cause it will go top 5. Don't complain.
