>SWIFT and several central securities depositories joined forces to demonstrate the importance of standards (e.g. ISO 20022) in distributed ledger technology in the post trade industry. The group published a first paper to define the product requirements for the e-voting solution based on Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and is now working on a new paper on the crypto assets. The purpose of the document is to establish business-level definitions of what digital assets are, what their lifecycles may look like, what common infrastructure they may need, and how FMI organizations like depositories may fulfil these needs.
